There is an MG on the top of most allied tanks, it’s set back far enough for a soldier to use this for defence at risk, especially on M10, yes they have little or no cover but it was a reality and it might help, the gun handles are so close too.
Thoughts? Yes not sure about axis, if gun set back enough maybe or just tough I guess.
It would be interesting. Maybe it could be done so that when an infantryman kills someone with a top mounted tank MG, tank crew could get an assist - sorta like driver’s assist in Battlefield.
Also, on most of Berlin maps there are tank wrecks with top mounted MG 34 that look untouched. That got me thinking a couple of times; could Darkflow make at least some of those usable, like those MG 42 machine guns in bunkers in Normandy?
