Is the 7th Christmas Day or Christmas Eve for you guys…?
Us Swedes celebrate on the first day, Christmas Eve, in other words on the 24th rather than on the 25th.

Christmas is celebrated on January 7th because the Russian Orthodox Church and some other local Orthodox churches continue to use the Julian calendar for liturgical purposes, while most countries in the world have switched to the more accurate Gregorian calendar. This has created a 13-day difference between the two calendars, so December 25th in the Julian style falls on January 7th in the Gregorian.
Our Christmas Eve is also the day before, the eve of Christmas, just like everyone else’s.
That’s the kind of calendar bureaucracy we’re dealing with

Same with us Transylvanian Hungarians, in the old days, in the days of the first Christian communities, the next day started when the sun set down, places that kept the tradition celebrate on 24th.
