Merging evaluation and some suggestions

I waited until I had a sufficient number of battles to give a clear opinion on merging. After about 80 battles between Germans, Americans and Soviets (I’ve already maxed out the Japanese and I really don’t like them) it becomes clear that the game is finally competitive. Every battle is exciting, but now more than ever it is necessary to have a team of friends to play good games and have good statistics; if before it was advisable, today it becomes very important to play in company, get over it. The Germans are clearly the easiest to play thanks to a larger, fairly competitive fan base. Russians and Americans are the ones with whom the most exciting games are played, I have often found excellent players, also competent with the use of planes. All this is lost on the weekend where many casual gamers mix in all the BRs altering the balance of the games, but they can easily keep victory statistics above 60%, higher than the darkest moment of this summer in Berlin Allied. Everyone who talks about bad balance, I honestly don’t understand what game they’re playing. Another small problem is the constant spamming of German tanks; often players aware of the superiority of German tanks persist in using them, even when perhaps 20 are destroyed in a game, especially in the lower BRs where they are very weak and we witness scenes in which infantry soldiers chase tanks that escape everywhere and this is ridiculous.

100%

The complainers are either too used to farming bots for easy games and don’t like actual competitiveness, or they’ve not set up their equipment properly and are unwittingly getting onto games for higher BR than most of their setup.

I will say, that almost every concern for “good statistics” is a cope. Statistics exist so losers can play noninteractively (e.g. as safe as possible) and tell themselves they’re doing something because their KDA is high.

Team play was always strong, but I don’t think having a group of friends should have anything to do with success at the moment at all. It’s not premades that are stomping these games with organized tactics, it’s usually experienced players versus new ones or bots. Doesn’t matter if they’re premade or not, voice chat or tactics isn’t a huge help (unless you do the farming shit and refuse to cap)…

It’s super easy to tell which type of team you’re on, if you’re on the good one you have like 4 rally points to choose from at most times, if you’re on the bad one there’s one, and only if you build it.

(but yes the game is a lot better now and i have better matches like you say)

I play to win and help my teammates win. Statistics do not exist for those who survive for the entire game and stay on the plane or tank and get 30 kills. And don’t talk about bots or noobs because I mainly play USA BR5, therefore against the maxed Germans. Mine wasn’t a post where I flexed my statistics, but to silence people who talk about unbalanced and unplayable games. The game today is very enjoyable as long as it is played as the developers intended, i.e. intense PVP and not PVE.

I don’t know. I have about as much steamrolls (both directions) as before the merge.
