Merge when?

So what is the consensus when the merge is likely to happen?
At the end of this battle pass which is in two days if I am not mistaken?
Apologies if this has been answered already.

±2 weeks, BP was postponed.

We should get more info today btw.

nothing has been confirmed.

but, we presume ( as players )that most likely will be when the BP starts.

today, we will be given some information regarding the battle pass changes / reason for the extension / changes to the shop

it was hinted by a developer/helper ( i’m trying to find it so i can pin it accurately ).

but it was a bit vague, it could mean many things.

Thanks guys, looking forward to the news.
I actually just bought the premium Italian rifleman squad under the assumption that gold squads will also see a price hike like the pack squads. Was that a dumb thing to do? Ah well. I love premium riflemen so all good. my favourite class in the game. Bolties 4 lyfe
I wonder what kinda seal clubbing potential they have with the new rank system. Even if not, bolties are good at any rank imo.

It wasn’t, I think this particular squad will not be available to buy after the merge.

Oh wow, dodged a bullet there. Glad I bought them, even if it was full price. It wasn’t in the list of squads getting removed and thus discounted which is when I got the Moroccan squad. Look forward to using them in the pacific because flak logic.

If they wasn’t on that list, they’ll not be removed.

Sorry for the false info. I was quite sure most of the 9 men premium squads will be discontinued.

it’s not unreasonable, as it did happened, and will happen that some premium squads and bundle were temporarily removed from the shop just to come back for much higher price.

that’s a cause that i can get behind

might not be suitable for all occassions, but as long you like them, that’s what matters

situation looks gray. but hopefully there will be some restriction after few months about it as seal clubbing is somewhat present.

luckily though, it’s gonna be a bit difficult to catch seal clubbers in 10 tiers.

i just pity those who plays the first three levels.
that’s where most likely the seal clubbing will be.

Yeah I was as surprised as you are when they weren’t on the list. Been on my mind since and just decided to buy them in case they hike the price. I want to use them right off the bat with my Lebel squad when the campaigns merge so no point in waiting for a discount.

Enlisted is a better “WW1” game than Battlefield 1 lol. They really respect the bolties in enlisted and I’ll gladly clear a room with them. Some peaking around corners and then back so the bots forget you ever existed and just one shot them all one by one while their player controlled member is sniping out of a window or standing around with his sausage in his hand or whatever.

Honestly, unlike War Thunder, there won’t be any RP modifier per level or tier x can’t research tier x+2 or something so seal clubbing seems the way to level. I don’t really need anything because I just want my bolties and have a slaughter fest going on. Typically, the standard max 3 star starter rifle is my favourite non premium weapon for each nation.

yeah, bolt actions are alot of fun.

but for the averange user of enlisted, it’s another story. not many people love them.

as it does require some skill and good aim.

i personally love them. can’t go without them.

satisfying to use as well.

but, yeah. as said, doesn’t take too long to see smgs everywhere
( which it’s fine i guess )

i’d argue we probably need them.

as we can’t really allow the game to die because of seal clubbers ruining first player experience :frowning:

at least, what’s what i think.

but, we’ll see what devs will have in mind.

Yeah I already feel bad for them. Will see what the whole thing looks like when it’s live. Perhaps I’ll just take my bolties to the higher levels. In true ww2 fashion mostly bolt actions were used right up to the end by almost every other nation. just now I cleared a squad of MKB42’s in CQB with 1 living squad member besides myself and the starter Nagant. They’re not all that so might not have go seal clubbing.
If they have a heart they will at least make the premium bolt action squads tier 4 or so to stop vermin like myself wreaking havoc.

First player experience is waaaay worse than facing sealclubbing.
From my experience, my first few matches looks extremely bad.
I was facing only bots. They basically never fired, all they did was running to objective.
I was just sitting in my T-70 adn farming them, had over 200 kills and run out of both types of ammunition.
I really thought this game is just boring bot fest from my first impression.

Very simula experience had my friend until we group up to play together.

It kinda still is which is why they merging campaigns lol

imagine on top of that, facing players that aren’t in their first level and just on purpose grind through tier 1.

i’d imagine that would have crushed it.

or… perhaps made you apreciate more bots.

dunno.

hell yeah:

ba for the win.

yes and no to both.

( in my opinion )

i don’t think it’s an overreacted problem, beacuse again, first player experience counts more than anything in today’s age. i noticed this factor with many titles that has an awefull initial reviews that somewhat plagued in the long run games.

which it’s not something that enlisted should have to deal with right now.

as bugs are taking their chunks. dragging stuff more than it should. but understandably complications and what not.

but when it comes to players, you ovviously don’t have to spoonfeed them. but at the same time, get them to face people like me or veterans that just want free experience at the epxense of new players. that shouldn’t be the case.

but… maybe that’s just me.

Without overthinking other people’s feelings or Darkflow’s business model I’ll just kinda rummage around the game after the merge until I find my twist. See how everything plays and what I like.
I guess overthinking other people’s feelings is a bit too speculative right now and will just see the complaints later pop up on the forums and then ask myself if I am part of the problem or not.
Ultimately your playstyle auromatically shouldn’t be toxic if the games design is proper, unless id you go intentionally obstructing teammates etc. So i don’t want to think about it too much, let the devs do that.

The fun part of this list of discontinued squad is those are discountinued for not have premium squad using progression gun/veichle

But

Half of the discountinued equipment are not in the progression so there is a chance they become f2p and usable by everyone once the merge come

I think sealclubbing is extremely overrated problem. You can very fast level up to mid tier/br basically in every similar game.
And that’s where most of casuals/newcomers will spend their time.

I don’t think so. There will be already lotsa non-premium squads removed because they double up. Germany for example will have like 5 squads or something for each type from all the 5 campaigns it’s in. Wouldn’t make a lotta sense to me if they drop ALL 5 non premium squads in favour of a premium-gone-free squad.

This is another thing Those are removed for new player because they dont need unlock assaulter II 5 time but only 1 time, we instead keep them because we already have them
