I will not get tired of repeating this suggestion until it is implemented, this is something that should be a base in the menu for certain weapons and their different fire modes, although most of the time you are not going to use a weapon in automatic fire always, There are situations in which the weapon is required to have another mode, whether semi-automatic, slow automatic or whatever the weapon has, what I am asking is that from the menu we have a drop-down option similar to the equipment manager but in which I can choose the predefined weapon mode BEFORE going into battle, because I already told you that doing it manually within the battle with Germans with an FG42 in a rifle squad is VERY slow and this can provide a few valuable seconds for the battle
Maybe a small icon under the weapon in where the menu opens
so your weapons can appear like⦠one or other (as example) when you enter in battlefield, of course you can still swap mode, but have one pre-set would be ok,right?
