This game is pretty fun and well made for a free to play, but one thing that made me and my team leave is simple, we are not cowards and we don’t tolerate a video game that forces us to camp or move idiotically, In real life I don’t see my eyes turning grey telling me I am going too far, therefor the enemy which obviously doesn’t have this eyesight problem, and can shoot me while I try to go back into the “battlezone”. Basically I can’t be a man or hero and rush towards enemy line to make a difference. Instead I have to camp with “dumb” bots, that give away my position most of the time. At least what I would have accepted is a realistic mode where there will be no such things, and people can play a war game like a war game should be played. Too bad dev don’t understand that, anyway if this ever change, we may consider going back to this game. Thank you and have a good war.
Translation:
" I love to spawn kill. I leave the game because I can’t spawn kill in Enlisted. I say me and my team to create the illusion I have friends thinking like me.
But I do not, as spawkillers don’t really have any friends. back to CoD I go, cyao!"
Not to be rough mate, but if anything this game punishes camping not forces it, If you camp anywhere that’s not the objective, you are gonna lose so fast.
Tunnel vision is something 80% (thats generous) of the population struggle with, they think flanking means charge straight at the enemy again and again. That’s not being a man, that “is” stupidity. There is a time to charge and a time to go around. Have to judge the state of the battle.
I’ve played this game alot and can appreciate that the play area is actually massive compared to the small avenues that get utilized. Theres Always a way around, and once you get in the blind spot thats when you set up a rally point to shift the battle lines. This is the part of the game I love most, ONE player can manipulate the flow of battle with clever rally points and smoke artillery. It really is like playing Commander of the battlefield.
So much this. I have categorically helped beat better teams because I put a rally point in a spot that allows me to bleed their troop paths or get to a spot where I can disrupt their battle lines.
As a singular player you do need to watch the ebb and flow of the battle and do what you can to change it by plugging defensive gaps, assaulting weak points, or probing the enemy.
That is why I bought full slots for each campaign so I can have a wide variety of troop types to counter anything that I might encounter.
It tends to mostly work too.
I rarely camp and my stats show it. I die more than some other players, and that is because I am always in the thick of it, causing havoc and disruption wherever I can.
Problem is the the enemy spawn points moves up on the map so you staying behind would allow camping spawn points.
My solution:
As soon as map moves up all squads remaining on the now new grey area, would respawn on the new respawn spot as if they had been relocated… there, there, Dark flow😁
It ruins battle momentum and rear guard actions. Capture points can be blitzkrieged in the time it takes players to realize they need to fall back. Won many games where the defenders stomped us all game, and in their boldness pushed the lines forward, only for one break through to tip the dominos as they are all out of position, and cant get back to defend fast enough as we rush cap after cap.
At the same time, rear guard actions would no longer stall an advance. Think it is already quite good.
