The Me 410 A1/U2 is a BR4 attacker plane in the German tech tree, and it is more a BR3 plane how it is. It has four pilot 20mm cannons (1200 rounds) and two 7.92mm machine guns (2000 rounds) in the nose of the plane, two 13mm turrets (500 rounds each) and has four Wfr.Gr rockets. It’s flight performance isn’t great either, with it being a twin engine bomber, it has about a 20 second turn speed. Comparing this to the FW 190 A-8, which is a BR3 fighter, it:
Is around 20 Kph slower
Turns about the same speed
Has a bit more ammo for the 20mms, but lacks the extra front firing 13mms of the FW
Has 2 more rockets
Has turrets, although they can’t be controlled and usually have little effect
I think that this would be fine on BR3 due to how similar it is to the FW, but in more of a heavy role fitting for an attack aircraft with it’s larger ordinance.
I was going to vote no, but I realised along the way that arguing with P-38 against this change would be ridiculous so I changed my vote yes.
P-38 G is similar/turns better at BR2
New Japanese attacker is much better at BR4
Soviet Pe-3 on BR3 is worse, but it always has been trash so that could actually benefit, since it would justify a lower BR.
Its (semi-)recent uptier was unjustified, Soviets gets a plane that can do the exact same things as this one, except now also with added bombs as well.

Rocket spam doesn’t become more okay just because there’s a red or white star painted on the aircraft, and I’m sure they can cry themselves to sleep when they both get rocket planes in BR II and III that they can effectively cycle. Return this to the place it used to be!
Because apparently… despite how many people own the vehicle the vehicles armament determines it’s BR (words of euth or macdonald can’t remember off hand)

@Euthymia07-live Really curious at this decision considering bf 110 only has anti air if you’re extremely good or they’re close… the conversation i’m referencing was in the discord after 110-g2 change… applying your logic this vehicle being despite being event has the armament of a BRIV plane(A20G) so should be BRIV.
Honestly I’d understand it being BR4 if the lead indicator on planes was zeroed in for the 30mm cannons. At least then it would be better at shooting down planes, which you need when you get uptiered and have to face Meteors.
But no they just kept it zeroed in for the 37mm, which barely does anything to planes and tanks despite its pen value on paper. I have the same problem with the Ju-188, they move it up a BR but they don’t give it the slight buff that would warrant it being in a higher BR.
