If we can have a bracket of its own being 3 and 4 and then put Moscow and Stalingrad in that bracket. And then put both PPD’s and ppSh on tier 4. And then the axis can knock the kiraly and mp717 down to tier 4. This should make it that way soviets can play on earlier war maps with the guns they had that existed in all times of the war as well as Germans having their weapons to counteract it.

Imo the best thing to do is simply allow all faction BR play in all historical map of the faction, because both late and early irl war equipment is already mixed due the BR, and so is unecessary fix map to a BR for try to simulate a accurate war progression if panzerfaust 60 can show up in moscow alongside volks gun
Tldr let all BR play on their faction allowed map

I don’t think I was clear enough actually. Keep Moscow and Stalingrad available for tiers 1-2 for the bolt actions play, however 3-4 of those maps will be the higher tier early weapons.

Gaijin has a good opportunity to make its tech tree as historical as possible and then use a +/- 1 BR system to ensure that any historical asymmetry enjoyed by a particular nation with a tech/equipment advantage is somewhat softened by having some players with a version of equipment that a given side manufactured during the conflict to deal with said asymmetry. The current +/- 2 BR spread is just dysfunctional as far as vehicles are concerned.
The alignment of Tier’s/BRs to maps was announced, but something seems to have gone wrong with the execution.
