Please please please include player rank in the new matchmaking system.
I’ve just played Pacific allies - partly for a battle pass task and partly to see the new visuals.
Both games I was on a team of new players against a team of all gold ranks. This really needs to be stopped, thoroughly unenjoyable.
Yes this is one of the campaigns notorious for it, but it’s just unplayable. Real shame because it looks great.
BR matchmaking is all we need, “skill” matchmaking is stupido.
Plus you were probably just in team full of bots, not new players. That’s why HA needs to go away.
The introduction of ranks is what broke the most campaigns balance in the first place:
Encouraged desertion.
They should have removed it or made it disappear like now, ages ago.
Probably then, the cheap warthunder br matchmaker would not have been necessary (that soon) and they’d have had time to prepare a better mm, like a skill one or something.
Anyway, it’s good they’re hidden now.
They are not hidden before start of battle, but they certainly should be.
Ranks are still visable in kill feed tho.
Could remove those as well.
They should add it when they released the large update with the global matchmaking but not now. Now i quit even faster knowing i cant see my team ranks anymore. Enemy team with 5+ name decors, my team none => quit.
I joined the Pacific axis last night to quickly fill the “win 4 times” task of the engineering event.
Pacific no longer seems to function as a fair game.

Sure its great now u dont know instant if you are with full team of bots

Clearly the change of showing player’s current solider haven’t take a lot of consideration. We do not need only what the player is using right now. WE need every information. Rank, level in the campaigns, team using now and the soilder that is using now.
Devs suck dick and don’t care about the ranking. I’ve had games where either my team wipes the floor with the other team or the contrary. Guys who pay for the weapons and have very good gear should have a different rank.
is the same in WT, same here, if WT still cant balance MM to work, Enlisted wont either.
This wont happen, because, in that mix, is also the people who played to high tier, without, the use of pay to have end game stuff.
Issue is the ranking being displayed, if only the owner could see stats/ranking, be no issues?
I have no issue facing the end game gear, or end game peoples,
but, i have issue, when the high players that do get put on your team, just leave (without penalty to there precious ranking), game, when they see more higher people on other side.
Also the same also, don’t wish to play against others of there own ranking, as ,its to hard, they don’t play games to sweat, they pay to play games to have fun,
fun for them is not facing each other, no, its seeing who can finish a game in under 9 mins with most kills, in a stacked team, because they know all the other high people have left, on other side.
( i play for the challenge ) but each to there own.
So it will never change, you will still have high people, bailing on games, because they decided its not fun, to play against other high ranking people, or on there team, are new, or bot players.
MM is not the problem as such, other than MM in first place, by putting all real people one side and bots new people other side
it more down to the people that leave that make it worse, because there at end game, and are bored shitless as no one to play with, as they wont play there own ranking equivalent.
Have rankings etc, just don’t display them? unless you trolling
ohh and please(pretty please) put a option, not to join battles in progress, but think i can see why you wont?
