Could we get an autobalance feature similar to what Battlefield does?
Right now, matches can easily become completely unbalanced when one side has significantly more real players than the other. When a team has a clear player advantage, the game should automatically move players to the opposing side upon respawning (or offer an incentive/option to switch) to equalize the team numbers.
It would make matches much fairer, reduce stomps, and keep games competitive instead of turning them into 7v3 bot farms.
I just read that I cannot click that heart, for I gave too many likes in the recent 24 hours. Seriously, impairing citizen rights is THE compulsion among programmers & online-folks, always underlying their “good intentions”.
Problem being they might not have enemy army deck with the same BR and also what is considered mid game could differ vastly in each game mode. Midgame in a 5 cap conquest could be over in a minute. Might be easier to just let new players join up to a certain point.
This. Checkbox for “join game in progress” and you start the match with already as many points as the lowest point human player on the team, as long as you finish the match without deserting.
Absolutely not! For example: if I decide that I want to research new weapons or grind XP in Nation A, then I want to play in that nation and not suddenly be moved to Nation B or C during a battle just because players desert on enemy side! That would likely lead to even more players deserting.
Aside from that, I may have a different BR setup for the other nations, which would be completely unsuitable for the match, or alternatively, the game itself might give me unsuitable alternative setups.
Yup, this wouldn’t work at all without first implementing BR presets per nation (do this, please…) as well as making it an opt-in, not an automatic swap (because as you say, people play certain nations for specific reasons).
