So much of the maps in this game are well detailed and often i can parachute out of a plane and land in an area miles away from the play zone and things will still look fully detailed. I think the games would be a little more fun if we had more room on these maps to genuinely experiment with tactics and make use of the realistic areas in the game.
Lots of times cool ideas i have are shot down by a hiding spot/defensive area being just outside the play area. I understand 100% that some spots are just unfair, but there are other ways to solve that issue than adding an unrealistic gray zone at the edge of the town.
Agree. For that new gamemodes would be necessary, maybe a frontline one based on regions of the map and not tiny narrow points, or secondary objectives around the map. Simply randomizing the capture points, putting more variables could be other alternative.
There’s MANY areas in the maps that a combat would be very doable and good, but aren’t explored, instead we get only predetermined points that everyone knows how will be.

Because that’s how I see it too, the tactical focus is slowly coming to an end/lost here too and it’s becoming just as much of an arcade shooter as Heros and Generals was back in the day.
The fact that you can no longer flank properly on large maps gets worse from update to update.
I’m relatively new to the game but if this continues I’ll be gone again. I just had a Berlin match and had to move with my sniper 6 times because I was out of the fight.

I do think the core modes and maps are fine
But I have suggested a giant conquest mode that covers the whole entire map with increased team sizes. I do think larger game modes do have potential but we just have to see how it evolves
The devs strive for realism and authenticity this is their own words ? Battlefield and Cod have arcadey WW2 titles if you’re in need.
I don’t like seeing people push more arcadey game suggestions if they’re not realistic seeing as the devs obviously care about realism and there are plenty of other WW2 textured arcade shooters out there if you can’t handle immersion. Doesn’t seem hard to think about.

Lol having these two doesn’t make a game a tactical shooter. Not to say this game only has limited realism and authenticity. The most important part of tactical shooter is caution, care, cooperation, coordination, planning, and pacing. Did Enlisted have any of this?
