Can someone remind what the blue pin drop on a map is for?
mainly just put by your team’s pilots or tankers
theyre just regular marks, but stay for much longer

and you’re not utilizing this feature in the sky whenever a teammate marks a vehicle?
I’ll use it regularly if using the mortar squad. The blue pin will give a precise range when ready to fire.
The bots also focus on the blue pin like your regular red pings. Not sure if this applies to the whole team or just your squad. Also of note, bots will favor the blue ping over the red. And since the blue lasts longer, it can be a better way of keeping your squad trained onto a certain direction for longer.

Ok, now I am confused. How do I place a blue pin with mortar squad? missing something … 
press M for map, then press ALT and look on the map where you want to place it, then RIGHT click NOT left to place the mark
