Mandatory tutorial for all new players

The lack of skilled players, and full teams of no spawnpoint building, grayzone camping an just utter fucking disregard for the obj is doing my head in.

Either punish the players who dont help, or atleast make them do a tutorial before they play, also you should give all new players atleast one anti-tank guy since sometimes they cant kill tanks at all with nades…

Either that or reward obj, spawn point building more.

Since right now its not a part of the game as far as Im concerned

THANKS

It isn’t the case but, I can run combinations of squads and or upgrades in them that none have an engineer and still play the game. I don’t want to be punished or neither I want to be forced to place a spawn point.
(it isn’t my case, but it’s self explanatory).
Many non premium users with limited squad options can run any combination of squads and none with an engineer. And they are allowed to do so.

Also, a single extra spawn point is enough to have a proper atack/defence. Be that guy that builds them.

Everyone starts with Atleast a tnt pack on a new account. It’s trial and error untill they figure out how to do it. If people need a tutorial to how to play a fps game, they shouldn’t play it at all. Or Atleast, give them time for them to trial and error with their actions untill they learn.

Objectives caps/defends with kills in objectives its still one of the best ways to get xp. The game its self explanatory on the mission briefing.building spawn points gets xp per squad that spawns in it, you I’ll only see the message a few times in the bottom of your screen, if you play lone wolf’s, if you place a spawn point and pay attention on your tab scoreboard, you I’ll get xp everytime a squad spawns there.

Also

We always have to consider the players that do play casual, want to roleplay a soldier (for ex be a sniper on a church tower) or running around with a flamethrower tying to compleate a daily mission… We can’t force others to play how we want when we want. It’s a casual game. Don’t loose your mind over it.let people play how they want, since we can’t pre queue with a pre-made team in the maps or modes we want to play.

So no, don’t punish players, free to do what action we want on a game its always a plus,
I don’t want to be forced to play how you want. Or neither I ill force others to play as I wish them to.

Also, consider that everytime anyone on your team leaves, a bot squad will take his place.

Total agreed, it’s a game, it’s entertainment. We don’t want to see “punishment” on the unskillful players, THEY ARE PLAYING. Never assume everyone does what you think should do or perform as you want.

On the other hand, encouragement on helpful action is a good idea, lead them to do better, for example, better capture XP, better spawn point XP, better AA XP.

Also, some newbies really don’t know what should do, tell them properly, some will listen, some.

If they do care about XP, someday they will find camping do much less XP than charging.

Nope, no1 listens, today I asked ms.kalkbrenner whom Ive seen on the forum to help me deal with tanks, she just said “cant see them” and “I focus on inf” and thats it. Even though she coulda moved or anything, but nope!

I told her inf was moving up on her left, she didnt even listen to that and got blown up…

Same with spawn points, I dont wanna play a game filled with people who dont “play for the team”, it just takes away from a team game.

If some1 writes to me, “tank on the left” I do try to alter my play to that information.
Or “need help at this point”.

And not running an engineer in every squad for ammo, def building, spawn points I see as heresy, but you guys do you, just dont expect players like me to stick around!

Punishing players for their play style is a silly notion IMO. The game does, however, need a proper training mode. I have suggested this many times and will not repeat it here.

Newbies not knowing what to do is why I agree there should be a mandatory tutorial that teaches you how to play and enjoy the game – and be part of a team. Being a sniper or flamethrower and getting lots of kills (or, more likely, getting killed a lot, if you’re just in it for yourself) means nothing if you’re not actively helping your team succeed. Very few people I’ve met in this game successfully carry out the basic necessities of combat: Move, shoot, and communicate. Most just stand still and die.

I don’t care about play style like camping or what, just don’t alway call arty right on the point when teammates charging, either tk us or force us to stay in the open and wait till arty stop.

this game isnt working anymore, like sometimes a match will be bots on one side and players on one,

I dont like that roles are filled up with bots, I would rather wait for a 1-10 min for a game than play a one sided game just cause I had leavers or whatever, Imma come back to the game in a year and see how its doing, I see so many people frustrated from all of the points Ive made, they rage quit and lose interest in the game cause of these things:

OP planes.
Campers not playing obj.
Noob players
Bot-teams
And most of all wierd designs on some maps like invasion works maybe 1 outta 10.

I just played a moscow game where we solo capped every point until last where we ran out of tickets without them even trying to take obj, but they won in the end cause they just camped.

Plz give the defending team a timer of 20-30 sec to retreat and a big “RETREAT” on their screen, as of now they all just stayed behind camping stealing more tickets than ever. Its also wierd some maps have side obj that gives like 1000 tickets, while others, moscow in particular has so many houses to camp and BIG fields u have to run thru as attacker.

I dont think it works very well when they just camp, all day everyday!
