It was a thing in Red Orchestra, sprinting that way was a bit slower, but also safer.
Adding this wouldn’t remove anything from the game, just be positive.

There is already a perk that allows for increased movement speed when crouched. Use it.
It needs to remain as a perk and not just become a standard function.
It´s not as good as a dedicated crouched sprint. As someone who mains that perk it´s really only useful to peek corners faster and not much else really.
