How does it represent WW2 better than Enlisted?
Was that before or after the Jumbo and the Mkb in Moscow?
Lol of course it has. A lot of ârainbow like colored user interface loving run n gun players (K/d is lifeeeeee)â wonât like the HLL gameplay style
Yeah on a friendâs pc. I havenât bought it yet. Itâs a good game.
I have never had I problem with jumbo but I can see why others donât like it. I did however greatly dislike the Mkb in Moscow, I even made a post suggesting replacing it with a sniper G41.
When dealing with âunhistoricalâ parts of the game I have two criteria:
1: Is it plausible
2: Does it break the balance and flow of the particular campaign
It is plausible that a crew added some armor plating to the Sherman to make it a âjumboâ.
In my experience it has not messed with the balance or feel of the Normandy campaign. However I would not be sad if they removed it.
The Mkb is not plausible at all in Moscow (I believe troops revived it in 1942, not 1941). The gun also breaks the pase (feel) of Moscow, which is mostly bolt actions by throwing an M4 with an acog scope into it.
I do not like it when they add a lot of prototype weapons into any game, especially when they said itâs supposed to be ââŚin line with historical factsâ; which as of Feb. 4, is advertised on their website.
Imo there should be option to make more historicall and more realistic gamemode in custom lobbies. Or even an official big gamemode (like lone fighters was).
Everybody wins.
Even against the Japs it was not that sucessfull and we are talking about the major power with the weakest (ground) cannons/ tanks. Doubt some tracks, wood and fancy metal parts would perform that much better against the cannon of the Panzer IV⌠let alone the Panther. Adding British tanks could be better but I guess we will only get them as buyable ones.
So WW2+Arcade works.
Pretty sure arcade goes with WW2
Looking at the numbers, its still higher than HLL.
Itâs like saying millions love K-Pop so it must be awesome.

Believe it or not, you are not the sole person on earth and your opinion is not necessary always based and red-pilled.
-
The market is always right. If people wouldnât like Enlisted arcade-style, they wouldnât have bought CBT or even Alpha access, and Enlisted would have way fewer players. Yet there were many testers (including dumb ones who bought Tunisia and Berlin) and founders, and there are partly enough players in 3/4 campaigns.
- You can only measure with the market company-wise. They dont give a crap about âbut muh WW2 must always be walking simâ because they just want to earn money the best way. Hell, they do not even listen to the âfeedbackâ here. The same goes for HLL devs. They didnât start to make a (good) walking sim because they have a Christian-like mission, but because they believe they earn much (and sufficient-wise) money with their way. Ofc they can be wrong with their strategy, but both companies/ dev teams make enough money, so they do not have to reconsider their (whole) strategy (yet). So why changing it?
You sound like the guy who is always right
Well. A company wants to earn money. Why should they change their strategy if there is market-wise no need for it?
Yes, this sounds good
I agree that jumping from the second floor should inflict 14+ damage. Thus such a jump would either kill or knock any player, even with +35hp perk.
No bots. Objectives that actually makes sense.
Ironicly, in HNG the flanking & other strategic maneuvers where rather important to win just like in BFV.
In enlisted best way to win the game is exactly to zergrush to objective and kill as much as possible enemies.
This gave me a good laugh.
You never flanked enemy in Enlisted? There is so much flanking goin on in the matches I play :S
Like bunny hopping all the way to Berlin (whoop whoop) and placing spawn APCs inside the enemy objective (SO realistic) then bunny hop hop again inside the objective and play counter strike inside the obj equals to Strategic maneuvers right?
Oh one more very special one = 85% of the team switching to planes with no aircraft players limit and continuously spawn bombing/ camping, wow really strategic maneuver right?
HnG any different?
Instead Enlisted forces players to play with different type of weapons instead of just go brrrrrrrrrrrr with automatic weapons all the time.
= Enlisted better than HnG
Instead Enlisted forces players to play with infantry and places limit on aircrafts and tank spawns so that players donât spam those things and ruin the gameplay for other players .
(2 tanks approaching with inf looks realistic not 8 tanks approaching with 2 inf)
(2 planes approaching with inf looks realistic not 10 planes with with 1 inf)
= Enlisted better than HnG
The list can go on. Enlisted is way better than HnG. Deal with it.
yeah, a bridge sounds quite alot more important objective than russian outhouse just because it has only lightbulb in town.
You can do what ever you want but its not necessary. 99% of games are won by simply zergrushing to point.
Yeah, you have to drive the apc from spawn and avoid enemy while in enlisted you just build a radio where people spawn.
Not sure which requires more effort or is realistic.
Oh yeah I totally forgot that you definitely cant jump in enlisted.
People being retarded hardly is a games fault, other than allowing it. Much like people spawning PZ2âs against T-50 etc.
Then it does pretty god damn shitty job at forcing people to do anything.
Except that war quite rarely was 1:1 balanced.
Never said its worse or better.
Simply pointed out how absolutely stupid your realism arguments in favor of enlisted were.
Flanking in Enlisted is a joke on 90% of the maps. You âflankâ by deciding to go 30m left from the main route and instantly go to the CP anyway while in HnG you decide to drive 300m and hide your APC in a town, mine routes or destroy tanks/ take out snipers. Flanking has more tactial importance in HnG than in Enlisted where the most tactical class, the engineer, has awful low pick rates and where CPs and spawnspoints are usually close enough that defenders are able to spawn camp from CPs (same goes for attackers and defenders spawns). We do not even need vehicles here because the maps are just so small (now).
And this is probably the first time I praise RedBJs awful map design.
