Apparently most of the german squads and / or US/Japan are allowed to use time travel universo in early campaigns across most presets ( Like the Volkssturm, M43, Pea dot camouflages, and more similar examples. which funny since pea dot were removed from the selection from TT squads, but not prems )
Yet italians can’t use basic uniforms where would have been most likely used.

Tis a bit silly that their all swapped around, I hope they add a helmet with feathers for Italy at some point too.

( which had the sun cap with the fedders, but in a recent update, they most likely got the helmets too )
i don’t own it my self, cause… why should you pay for a squad with a TT weapon innit 
( but won’t buy it either if we can’t even use them bloody cosmetics outside of it )

Well remind me to pick it up when I start eating gold plated toast. They should add a pith and steel version with feathers they are iconic seems a travesty they don’t have a free versions, but such as it is for now. I should also say thanks for letting me know what squad its from, was hoping it was from the San Marco squad but of course not that would be too easy…

Only TT medic squad got affected AFAIK.
Still, dev statements ‘no removal of soviet cosmetics is planned’ followed by ‘pea dot is to be removed from german cosmetics’ are quite telling.
And for new italian squad - let’s all act surprised when new recolored uniform pops up offered for gold soon™.

Interesting. I’ve checked multiple TT german squads on testserver ( and liveserver befrore update) and medics were the only ones with any pea dot uniforms in Moscow.
Is this another case of different players having different options not available for customization, like new gold-only zeltbahn pants not showing up for many players?
They are available for customization orders for this squad. I gotta buy a lot of those before the devs make them gold only

In the 60’s communist was thrown around so much it ended up sounding like “you don’t agree with me, well you’re a commie!”. At any rate something needs to be done about these so called “premium appearances” IMO some shouldn’t be premium only ergo this Italian hat because it’s distinctive. For those that are premium appearances they should be purchasable for new gold appearance orders which you could buy separately and receive in the BP (more with elite) this way it wouldn’t be directly tied to gold which is annoying because paying gold for appearances is hard to justify IMO because there are better things to spend it on + they are poor value.
