Make the M8 Greyhound a Starter tank for newer players instead of the M13 GMC

as in the title, simple suggestion.

why?

  • The Gmc 13 is NOT a tank. and shouldn’t be handed out to new players with guns that can barely pen most tanks that faces at it’s br.

worse yet, not many knows, but the first 10 games are against bots.
which bots have br III vehicles. so it’s not a good impression.

  • the m8 greyhound is a rather balanced choice for br I offering some trades with mobility and a relatively okay gun for it’s br at the expenses of armor. which still requires to aim for weakspots and offer some better doctrine regarding weak spots.

i think first impressions are kinda everything.
and giving a M13 GMC is not it. players should have a choice or something suitable for it’s br rather than underpowered vehicles.

which it’s not me trashing the M13 GMC as i do use it in br V as a “effectve” anti infantry and AA to some extent. but it requires more skills for a first time user than a m8 greyhound.

and yes. i understand some other factions have a similar problem. but i’m primarily discussing the US with a starter vehicle. One that i do own too:

what about the premium ?

well, much like the panther A in the past, the Panzer IV, the Panzer G, the Panzer M and some other tanks that used to be premium only, but then added to the TT, give it’s premium varient some better shell and after all, they still have the palm, camouflages, upgraded crew, xp bonuses, can be issued to a event/premium slot and give a chance to offer doubles to those who like me, wants to run with more of these tanks ( FYI, no. i don’t seal club. i use the M8 greyound as a rider squad ).

and that is all.

let me know what yall think:

This’d be awesome.

I’d also appriciate if they changed the camo leaves to be approperiate for each campaign setting on my premium M8

I believe the premium M8 has the same better AP shells as the rhino
