I get that names are only to be seen by players which give them those but I think that some kind of verification could be applied to it.
I know its most likely because people call their soldiers after Austrian Painter or personal insults but it could be somewhat avoided.
For example those are the names I was giving:
Saxton Hale
Ivan Radinov
Artyom Chornyj
Markus Wulfhart
Paul Baumer
Von Richtofen
B.J. Blazkowicz
Not that bad isnt it? All are just named after fictional or historical characters.
So those are just fun, and I believe I would love to see such recognizable references from other players on scoreboards too!

What is the point of letting others to see your soldier’s name?
Let just remain like this so people can name their soldier whatever silly name they like.
I hate those crying babies coming to the forum and cry about they getting offended by other player’s name.
Historical characters are literally the reason.
Thats why controversial figures shouldnt be able to be seen lol
but they are lore friendly in enlisted though.
both hitler and stalin are recognized and depicted one way or another inside the game.
tritler officers were named after the " man " himself.
and there used to be stalin statues as object map.
with that being said, for what op is suggesting,
eh… don’t really see the necessity of it.

Who decides which person is or isn’t controversial?
I like it, people like it. But I seeing your current nickname makes it clear to me that you dont care about such things which is ok
