Make Swamp of Reviers lone fighter only or just remove this shit map

Of all the maps out there, this is the only one that made me feel physically sick. There is grass everywhere and lightning is also a shit, you couldn’t see anything, and seventy percent of the kills were caused by bots using fully automatic weapons(like the FG42 and M2 Carbine) since they can see through these fuckin grass, and planes. It’s hard to imagine a map more disgusting than this one. However, some forest camper would love it, just move it to lone fight and let them experience being a Vietcong

I’ve come to like that map over time. The trick is to stop rushing B

I would say the trick is to camp a “island” in the middle with a tank and wait patiently for a enemy tank.

It’s the only way I see myself playing that map.

Overall not fun.

You can also spawn camp/kill the Germans on this one as well. Capture B, push up forces and camp a tank and a bunch of troops across from the spawn near B and it is impossible. The spawn furthest away on the C-side of the map is also kind of exposed if the enemy pushes up past B towards C and camps the islands in the middle. Had this happen a couple of times. Also arty and bombs make this map near unplayable sometimes - doubly so when the opposing team has a bunch of high level farmers. The team which spawns on the A-side of the map has a distinct advantage in this one.

I just feel like all conquest maps are kinda bad in general.

imo the map is too large, and the general pacing is: capture A, walk for 2 mins, then die to sniper. The lack of landmarks, cover (like houses), additional capture points, and the long distance between the existing points makes it so uninteresting and boring.

i wish they would add some urban element to it (similar to how bf1 did it), like a long row of houses from A to C, or just delete it entirely lmao

Personally I love this map, the trick is to make use of vehicles (both tanks, the boat cars, etc.) to move around, or utilize engineers and engineer equipment on the flanks, alongside snipers, or if you don’t like those things, hunker down in your team’s defensible capture point / try to recap said capture point, until you get engineers dropping spawn beacons at the opposite team’s defensible capture point (A and C). Meanwhile, try to pick off enemies who approach your own capture point you’re defending.

The B cap is for the YOLO crowd.

It’s a different playstyle from other maps, as you can’t beeline your way to capture points, due to how open the spaces are, and requries you detour considerably on the flanks to really reach the other team’s points, but I don’t see that as a bad thing in my opinion.

Quite honestly, it’s my favorite map. But I main Engineers, Snipers, and Tanks. So… well, to say the least it fits my playstyle rather well.
