Frenchmen, using French weapons and speaking French, have been in Tunisia. Chinese wearing Chinese uniforms, speaking Chinese, and using Chinese weapons have never been in Tunisia. And they couldn’t have.
This is true, i’ll admit i was thinking in more so of a literate example being french partisans using the specific weapon
So let me shift to a different french unit… the moroccan auxiliaries… those should force your matchmaking to tunisia no?
I’ll say them having absolutely no relation to the campaigns is ridiculous… however it’s no different than anything else we have and i think you’re making too big of a deal out of it mixed with your own personal feelings and also trying to affect people’s purchase and what they play in game.
Forcing matchmaking based on equipment relation to the campaign is dead i’ll repeat it again.
Perhaps changing their nationality to US soldiers when playing in the other campaigns? This would be acceptable for the squad… there are plenty of weapons which were nowhere near each campaign.
At least they were in southern France. It’s not Normandy, but at least it’s Europe. There were other French colonial troops in the Ardennes. Overall, if they were given proper French uniforms or at least their damn hoodies repainted khaki, it wouldn’t be so bad.
And if you want my opinion, yes, I’m all for locking them in Tunisia. Then, at low BRs, Tunisia would simply start falling more often, and players with Moroccan squads wouldn’t be matched against Japan. However, adding so many conditions should have a much more noticeable impact on matchmaking, and Chinese squads need such measures much more urgently.

The people who whine about them already get their kicks off whenever a new chinese squad is released… they get given colored uniforms for the environment and everybody lives in harmony.
Because at least the Moroccans were in Europe. Yes, they still ruin the atmosphere terribly, but the Chinese are on a whole new level.
Keep in mind you are trying to make a whole new matchmaking system that affects people primarily who paid for a squad… that’s not a very good way to go and only serves to pump the numbers for burma (which i’m sure you couldn’t be any more happy about) and making for a boring experience if you want to make use of your newly acquired chinese thompson squad

They didn’t participate in the theatre they are represented in just like the chinese. This… is a byproduct of the merge
How many times… do i have to repeat this? Hell… even our biggest advocate of such historic wonderland doesn’t agree with this… and that shows.
Besides personal feelings and restricting maps it will also kill the queues for those who bought it. that’s not a good thing to do.
How the hell? The same number of players for the US and the same number of players for Japan and Germany. Half the players will go to Germany, the other half to Japan. Only the players with Chinese squads will go to the Japanese half, and that Japanese half will end up in Burma. Players with Chinese squads will have to wait 30-60 seconds longer for the Japanese team to free up? I don’t think that’s a big price to pay for the game to stop looking like crap.
The damn Chinese squads were added after the merger. And that was a really stupid decision.
Agree to disagree. merge opened the gates and they came flooding through… only opens the opportunities to further this aggression (but really not as they seem to be fond of the chinese)
I think we are quite a bit past that atmospehere thing.
Anyway, forced cosmetics to specific maps → problem solved → fks up everyones cosmetics they have bought. Not that I care, but arguably only possible solution.

I think the best solution is impletmented a Chinese tech tree and move existed Chinese squad into it, so that Chinese squad could matchmake with Allies into Burma and Manchuria maps.

it would be impossible for china to have the gear to be above BR3 unless you propose giving them lend-lease super pershings

I’d say that’s perfectly fine. There’s no reason to go above that for all factions. It’d be the same with the Lowlands and France.

I understand that he means the branch that combines the main faction squads and the Chinese squads from events and premium.
also, italian and british need this treatment first.

Yes, you are right. But if we can make a tech tree only up to Rank III that we can make more sub-trees for Enlisted. I would form a suggestion about sub-trees and corresponding matchmaking system when I have a free time.
You’re right—they don’t even know how to make money properly.
The latest Chinese squad is just Asians wearing Soviet skins, plain and simple. It’s a total lazy, low-effort job.
You should say: Gaijin’s capitalist mindset is even worse than the Soviet Union’s; it’s something that disgusts everyone.
Right now the Chinese squad is just the most high-profile one, so the issues with factions and maps stand out. Nobody even noticed when they did the same lazy thing with the special Tunisian squad before.

I really hope to see the addition of Chinese weapon lines, even if the highest technological weapon is only BR3. Most World War II games have ignored this battlefield for some reason, just like people who don’t understand history would say that the turning point of World War II was Normandy. Moreover, the Asian battlefield is vast enough to create various maps
