Make server selection a hard rule

Typically, I find myself (as someone living on the west coast of the US and typically has only US server selected) thrown into matches on EU servers on rare occasions. I’d estimate this is normally on the order of 1% of matches for me.

The past week, this is frequent. I’d estimate 20% of matches.

My ping is high enough on EU servers to affect gameplay and I’d simply rather not play than adjust to that unless it was my own decision (e.g. to squad with someone in EU).

Given that we have the option to choose multiple servers, if a player chooses only one, this should be the only server they play on. If queues get too long for our liking then we can adjust or simply know the game lost it’s players.

Simply choose which server you want and exclude the rest.

Yes, I’m asking for that to be a hard rule. It is currently only a soft rule. Or it’s bugged.

Ping is over-rated - I’m on 200-210 all the time - literally every game - sometimes a bit higher if the fibre-optic hamsters are feeling lazy.

Game is still easily playable.

I’m not asking to take away your choice to play with high ping. I’m asking to give a firm choice in which servers we play on.

Often doesn’t work, I have gotten EU servers often when set to NA only lately.

If you always have shit ping and are used to it you can’t exactly judge it as overrated, no?
