(Also, if I pay $50 for a tank, I better be able to use it on all campaigns in that faction) {Edited}: I know most of you trolling about King Tigers fighting against some garbage early war tank. I’m suggesting a general overhaul of current matchmaking that doesn’t separate playerbases with every new campaign. I’m not getting into the details of how to balance this, someone has a paycheck and a lot of time to figure this out.
It’s hilarious to think someone thought the current system of progression was a good idea.
Supported the game through testing, but I’m sorry, this is a flaw I pointed out since day 1. Will be taking a break from this game until further development has been put into this.
What a load of utter bollocks.
Can´t wait to see Jumbos in Tunisia. Seriously, there is so much wrong with this entire suggestion that I would have to write here an pointless essay on it.
Sure, grind problem is a thing, but this is not a solution no matter how much you make your suggestion sound like an ultimatum.
Sure, but that is not what I see as a problem. Every campaign in pretty much standalone, thus it makes sense to grind each campaign separatedly. However, unlocking same things over and over again is what I see as a problem. Weapon transfer doesn´t really solve anything in that matter.
I’m simply pointing out the obvious, it doesn’t take a genius to see where this game is headed if they keep releasing new campaigns that have separate matchmaking, separate progressions (even within the same faction), and separate premiums (even within the same faction).
The more campaigns, the faster the game will die, a very counter-intuitive design.
That is true only if devs give in to player made hype train and “pls gib us x or y” logic, and release even more campaigns before game is ready for it.
First, what we have needs to be fully polished, game needs to slowly gain more playerbase to populate queues and ONLY AFTER this happens, we can talk about new campaigns.
And that may (and should) take a while to do.
sad part is, that it is not even a solution. You can grind all campaigns at once and so what… are you going to also PLAY all campaigns at the same time to populate queues? I don´t think so… while grind and playerbase problems are connected, they are still TWO different things.
I don’t see this ever becoming more than a 50-60k playerbase game.
They need to demolish the idea of campaigns, have an arcade version where it’s allies vs axis. United matchmaking, combines the playerbase, combines the factions (allies vs axis) format.
Yes, it’s not historical, but at least then you know this game is going to be around a long time. Besides the campaigns can still exist for historical events / matchmaking as a option.
There are some fundamentals that War Thunder did right, Enlisted should adapt some of those features in my opinion.
