Would it be possible to make Flametrooper tanks backpack detonable with bullets? :o
When you shoot with a gun in the gas tank of a car … it dont explode … unlike in the movies

Well duh the Car reservoir is beneath the car, shooting at the refilling hole won’t make it explode. 
Shooting the fuel tank directly won’t make it explode either, unless you hit it with an RPG or something.

The Flamethrower Tank is still a pressurised canister.
Yes, but it won’t explode, the fuel will simply jet out of the hole created by the bullet.

The life expectancy of a flame thrower in ww2 was between 5 and 10 minutes.

Life expectancy has nothing to do with the fuel tanks exploding, moreso the fact Flametroopers were targeted as stated previously.

I’m just telling you what the guy in the video siad.
The video isn’t relevant to your point, they already have this lifespan in Enlisted, why unrealistically nerf them
For explosion you would need flamable gaz mixed with air.
Flamethrowers (should) have nitrogen gaz probelant and liquid/jel fuel.
Shooting Nitrous Tank
No explosion, just venting.
Still not great for the operator but better this than being a fireball (also you he probably got killed by the bullet anyway).
This almost never happened as long as the bullet isnt a AP one and you have ton of luck.
how about MORE flametanks

you keep trying to relate my comment and video to the post but I’m not trying to put in a suggestion, i am just informing people of what the guy said about what happened in real life. also, it’s just an informational video. it has nothing to do with the suggestion but it is related to flamethrowers.
Gas fumes are more explosive than the gas it’s self.
