events with preset squads are so bad like insanely bad and i think ppl arent saying this enough cuz we are getting another one that is so much pain to play for so small rewards

Honestly itās not that bad
Thereās enough squads to choose from and the equipment is close enough in power level for them to not be just completely awful
Thereās more explosive packs, soldiers have better perks, weaponry is upgraded
Itās a huge improvement over the Market Garden and Soviet vs Japan event and is actually playable instead of being a complete chore
Having preset also makes it easier for people to play it, as you are not limited to 3 sqauds and having to equip them with specific weaponry. Until they implement a feature to create your own sqauds for free for the event this is good enough if the perks are somehow usable

For veterans with all stuff unlocked these events can be bad but majority of playerbase are noobs with no good gear. These events offer them a possibility to finally have no equipment gap and have fair chance against enemy team

i understand your point tho if these noobs need help to get loot through events how are they going to play the base game? not to mention that its 9000 points a day, most of the ābad pplā in my matches get less than 2000 points, so would these noobs grind 5 - 9 matches a day just to get 2 weapons? if they have this grind mindset then they can also grind the base game and earn silver for the box or simply progress
this isnt really what my issue is, the greater issue is that i dont have a problem with events becoming grindy but i have a problem with this kind of event. i use the weapons i use for a reason, i dont want to be forced to play with these templates. there wouldnt be an issue if they would make us able to grind points by playing regular matches like in the other events, so i dont see why they dont allow this? they could also add both if they want these bs templates to be availableā¦

No it is that bad. The lay out is completely insane and there is no consistency between gear. It would be fine if their weak, but their lay out is just straight up terrible.
If they sont have an axe fine, but at least allow me to have a squad of just bolt actions with similar grenades, no fucking 4 weapons and all grenade types trown randomly on soldiers.
The lay out is neither historic, balanced or intresting, just lame.
Wish we could at least design our own squads from a preset amound of weapons and soldiers with an Italy V UK theme.

I disagree - IMO it is nice to have limited weaponry and squad selection for short events like this - it provides a pleasant interlude from the constant min/max spam.
But yeah - the rewards for this one are still rubbish.

And how is that bad exactly? Should they be banished from playing the event or should it just be uninteresting āplay x amount of time today to get a rewardā

God forbid 1337 edge lords should have to use the same equipment as the noobs!!
I dont mind, infact I like this kind of events more than the previous halloween zombie event.
This event is much less time consuming and tbh I genuinely just like it better.
Well you dont have to play it. Just like I chose to not play the last years halloween event.
