AI tends to stick together too much.

There are many times AI forms a blob like it’s the Starcraft. They should have kind of “personal space” that should be clean of any other AI (so player can get “too close for comfort”) that depends on the set formation. Of course it should be preffered behaviour but not forced because it will cause a lot of problems in CQC fights.
Even wide formation is close enough to loose 3/4 of your squad to a single grenade. Actually “density orders” seem to work like AI was binded to a place in the formation, instead of actual setting a distance between soldiers.
Also I remind that formations still don’t work when you order to hold the ground.

I noticed another problem with AI, when I get killed, next AI squadmate rushes to my position that leads to chain of getting killed at the same spot with no way to prevent it.
Exactly but I mostly know it from the other side.
Maybe we even met each other on the battlefield as I tend to have quite a lot similar situations because of my playstyle
what do you expect from bots when they forget order after 50m xD
It’s a mechanic for those cheaky players that treat AI like spare lives and I fully support it. Yes, that’s optimal way of playing the game, but I don’t care.
