Which was actually considered at some point of history.
Surely as an open topped TD right? Because there is no way you can squeeze a 17pdr in a T 34 turret.
Obv, they planned it to make it bigger.
But the idea never got far enough to have concrete information about what it would look like.

There are so many good options for the germans, Ive always loved the frankenstein B2s, either with a 105mm howitzer or a flamethrower.
B2 105mm SPH (BR3 ish)
B2 Flamethrower tank. (BR2 ish)
Honestly there are so many amazing frankenstein tank models that actually make a lot of sense to be added to the game, both historically and gameplay wise.
They can get really cursed really fast too.
