Main difference of primary weapons

O lot of players dont understand the main difference of primary weapons of each side and still bickering about unbalance
Axis weapons in general ( italy germany japan) are more suitable for longe range-stabil warfare
Us weapons are more suitable for dynamic rush in mentality. ( even the bolt actions)
This doesnt mean you cant rush in with german weapons or cant take longe range kills with us weapons but they are most efficient in their respectable fields.
Only really overpowered primary weapons i think are the soviet ones. They literally suit for every type of playstyle
I cant say much about english weapons tough, i didnt play enough ally tunisia.
This lack of knowledge results like; braindead players who try to rush frontally without using smoke with bolt actions

Would agree but your assumption is too wide based.
Maybe a lack of time but some BA’s in the opposite faction you named are really good.

Yeah i can’t quite see your point about german weapons being more suited for long range warfare. Maybe IRL but here it feels like they’re more suited for CQC with the exception of bolt rifles. On the other hand american M2 Carbine and Browning M1919A6 feel like automatic sniper rifles.

BAR is more accurate than StG.

well it’s more complicated than what both you and OP says

BAs are about the same for distance
while german SMGs are better for any situation with better than average dispersion with an alright RPM to good rpm
allied LMGs including the BAR are better accuracy though the germans ones are great in cqc because of their larger mags and fast rpm

M2c is good for cqc mostly with it’s ammo count though FG42 is more accurate (.45 versus m2c’s .55) and can fill the cqc role thanks for an upgradable rpm taking it from 750rpm, same as m2c, to ~800rpm

Because thats reason why you want MGs.

i mean why don’t you want a 75 round 1 hit weapon when 99% of points are inside :person_shrugging:

Well if i’m not mistaken all SMGs produced by nazi germany were designed for CQC, so i won’t be suprised if they aren’t as accurate at 200m as let’s say a rifle. I’m not sure why we’re comparing SMGs to LMGs here, they shouldn’t be as accurate as rifles, but not SMGs levels of inaccurate , Brownings seem too accurate while the MGs seem to be the opposite to me.
The FG42 is a Battle rifle/ light machine gun mix while M2C is referred to as a response to STG44 and called either an SMG or an Assault rifle, but let’s say for simplicity that it’s a SMG.

My beef here is, why are M2C and Browning M1919A6 so accurate while players/bots dump the whole mags into their enemies while moving and MG34/42 so innacurate while deployed/laying down.

Because awful close combat states apart from mag size and rof.
