M4a3 105 normandy

Then they should add the tiger and flak88 for the Germans

Some of that information is off…

ok to 76, but only with HVAP Ammo

The 88 has good penetration but low tnt. It shouldn’t be overpowering

Would be nice to tell me what is wrong instead of just telling it is…

Ram 2 were hardly built and never used in the war. Besides a few being used as makeshift personnel carriers. M18 hellcat wasn’t present during Normandy, only there in a few numbers. Fireflies at this time were quite rare compared to their counterparts.

The jumbo wasnt used, and most of the tanks they did use didnt even make it to shore and ended up sinking.

It is a list of tanks that where there not a list how many. The firefly got unloaded right after the landing. A few rams where used by the canadians and also convertered rams like kangaroo(transport) and a command variant.
Hellcat where few but they where there.

There where 3000 build and used by the Canadians next to the Sherman on all fronts where the Canadians fought.

As a Canada I really wish that was true, but you are incorrect.
Although a good number were used as kangaroos for transport and many many were used for training in britian.

not without the firefly and the super perishing

the pershing outclasses the tiger 1, impenetrable front side.

lol then no tiger 1

honestly I think it would be fine with how long the reload would be on the 105mm.

But personally, I’m more of the opinion that the better counterpart of the IVH would be an M4A1 76mm model, given we had a bunch ready to go for D-Day in the UK, even if the tank commanders rejected their use for the landings themselves, it would at least be far better than the Jumbo in the accuracy department, and would have equal ability to penetrate the IVH.

But this is where I think that the asymetric tanks in general are an issue, and that the scott should be paired against the short barreled Puma, the 3N should be given it’s HEAT round it had historically, and the 105mm Sherman and 3N should be counterparts, where the IVH and Jumbo are in the tech tree right now, With the IVH and M4A1 put up against each other, then have a Panther D vs Firefly or Jumbo at the top of the campaign tree. (as per ; Suggestion for Normandy Campaign restructure and rebalance )

But that’s me.

Before adding tanks of that level they should provide proper AT guns and AT weapons

I mean, generally speaking the towed AT guns are correct for the time period, save the Normandy German AT gun, which I think they decided to give them the 50mm to be closer in performance to what the allied forces are using there.

As for AT weapons, I’m sure we’ll get more as we push up to 40 campaign levels. Though the Sturmpistole should be replaced by a more capable AT weapon in normandy, otherwise I think AT weapons are in a reasonable spot right now. Could / should be better with their post-pen damage to components, but everything else is on point for infantry carried AT weapons.

I still have footage of firing the panzerfaust. It can kill a whole squad. That’s probably why they didn’t add it.

I mean, you’ve got panzerfausts on Berlin, and they’ve nerfed HEAT since CBT in general. Not really the point I was making, though, you’ve got a few different AT rifle grenade options for the Germans, with the Gross Panzergrenade 46 being the closest in performance to the PIAT and my normal recommendation for such.

No ram with a functioning gun was used in World War Two
