Somewhat disagree but also…agree?
The M2C is in a very weird place, you essentially rely on it as the Western Allies once unlocking it due to how much it outshines many of your other automatics and workhorse guns so in that way it does need a nerf…
Buuuuuut
There NEEDS to be some compensation coinciding that nerf, specifically towards many of the allied SMGs(specifically Thompsons) which are horribly underwhelming compared to the current M2C and their Axis counterparts

The m2 is fine in normandy but not in pacific. The type 4 is equal to garand or johnson but not full auto m2 carbine

The dev have stated that, after the merge, Japanese should not fight against M2 carbine due to it being too high BR. But yeah putting M2 in Pacific was probably an error.

The M2 Carbine is too powerful in the Pacific
But it makes sense in Normandy because FG42 is stronger
So we just need to keep it out of the Pacific campaign
