The M1C Garand is a sniper in the BR4 US tech tree currently, and I propose for it to be lowered to BR3. There is already a sniper version of the Garand on BR3, and the only major difference between the two is the scope used, the M1 Sniper having a 6x scope and the M1C one having a 2.5x scope, with only small stat differences otherwise, nothing very different. I think it would be fair to move it to BR3, as it is really just the Sniper Garand with a smaller magnification scope.
Yeah its very bad sniper better be BR III.
I really like this sniper and currently use it…
But I have no idea of why it is as high br as it is now.
So many things have bizzare battle rating at the moment…
May I suggest an M3 Carbine sniper rifle. If I read correctly, there was an M2 Carbine that was modified into the M3 Carbine and adopted in 1945. So why not add it at BR5, and drop the BR5 Garand Sniper rifle to BR3.
At least this Sniper or night version did exist, where as the StG 44 sniper rifle as far as I know never did. However, I love the StG 44 sniper rifle, not for its sniping ability but I remove the scopes and have three additional assaulter squads as all my German sniper squads are BR5.
Here are the weapon stats for comparison.
There are only few BR3-4 sniper rifles so its hard to say how fair the current status quo or the suggested changes are.

I will stay neutral here, though if someone wants to convince me to support this suggestion, go for it.
But I dont really see why the M1C would be worse then BR4 sniper rifles, but also dont see why it would be a problem on BR3. My only real issue here is that M1C is the only BR4 sniper rifle for Allies while they already have 2 on BR3 but lets be real, this is not related to its stats.
I never noticed m1C had such high damage (for a semi)…
Nice! I’ll probably use it more
I have it in my BR5 Allies deck, its reasonably good at sniping though its not very reliable in CQC against Type hei auto or FG42.
Well thats just BR4 experience for everything.
Br+/-0…
How we dream of thee…

You know what they say:
l’espoir fait vivre
(Hope keeps us alive)
I think it should instead get some sort of buff. Having 2 garand snipers in same br is not ideal
