I will be honest, thanks to the user Eli The Protegen on Discord it’s clear the weapon shouldn’t be br 3, the weapon should be br 2 at max or make have modifications for keep it in his actual br, like have another mag as @Comrade_Sina suggested in his post: About M1A1 Thompson Para ,if you wish do another suggestions I am open to listen
Here is the proof of stats:
The weapon we could copy the code is Hyde model 35:
I already explained it several times. I’m not going to repeat myself every time a spammer spams the same suggestion, using exactly the same arguments.
There were numerous posts about this weapon in past few days. Yet you choose to create completely new one, without bringing anything new to the table.
It’s quite obvious why.
I agree with Adam that the M1A1 Thompson is undertiered as it is.
If the event M1A1 Tommy sucks, we it can be buffed. Though I doubt it will be necessary.
I agree with the M1A1 in BR2, unlike many people, I don’t think the .45 is superior to the German and Italian 9 caliber, it does more damage, but its muzzle velocity is pretty crappy. The Japanese have worse caliber than the Germans, but in return they beat even the Soviets in recoil and RoF. But there is another reason why I believe it shouldn’t go to BR2. There are already two other paratroopers there and if you look at other Allied weapons, probably the future event/premium paratroopers will be more in BR2 (Sten MK5, MK4A, MK4B, etc.), so I prefer to buff this gun.
I have some ideas:
1- We reduce the recoil, it should be only slightly worse than the regular M1A1 to be playable in BR3.
2- We give it a double mag system and a decent reload time. With the double mag system:
First reload: something like 1.3s, the soldier doesn’t need to hit the bottom of the magazine so many times!
Second reload: about 1.9s
Or without the dual mag system, reload like the rest of the BR3 Thompsons, 1.5 seconds.
3- Give it two(1+1) extra magazines. (This one is basic, whether it goes to 2 or stays at 3, it must have this so that it’s no worse than the other paratroopers)
