M1941 Johnson semi-automatic rifle(Experimental magazine)
Guys, is this gun really real?
The information I have seen indicates that during the development of this weapon, an experimental version was released (although it is unlikely to be used in actual frontline combat).

If memory serves me right, this is the prototype of the johnson made by Taft and Peirce in 1938

Magazine-fed Johnson? Wow, that’s crazy. Meanwhile Germany doesn’t get access to either the magazine-fed G43 or the ZH-29 at BR 3 at all.
I reckon even a 10-round magazine version of the Johnson would get bumped up to BR 4.
And the devs’ excuse would probably be that no one would use the tripod-fed Johnson anymore if this gun existed.

That’s awesome. The website states these early proof prototypes used box magazines holding 10 rounds, and the iconic saddle-shaped rotary drum magazines on production military Johnson rifles also carried 10 rounds, with the early box prototypes limited to the same 10-round capacity.

Great news—this means the US might finally get a magazine-fed semi-automatic rifle at BR 3 down the line.
