I was playing Al Har in Tunisia campaign and suddenly heard familliar Browning’s sound, I’d killed its owner and picked up this and it was no bug the gun worked. How was this possible? To make things even more confused in this very match I saw on the killfeed someone from my team killing an enemy with MG34, no the the tank version but ‘normal’ variant. Some devs playing Enlisted in this match?
Probably AI squad, they have their own guns and uniforms.
There´s also allied bots running around with M1928s with drum mags iirc
But I haven’t ever seen anyone with a weapon that isn’t accessible in particular campaign. And got almost every campaign maxed out.
I had a similar occurrence in Berlin in the CBT. Back then, Russia did not have access to the dt29, at all. Yet somehow I met someone shooting ppl with it, problem is that he didn’t move like a bot. I managed to kill him and steal his weapon then proceeded to kill others with it. Ppl though I hacked hehehhe
Could he have been a dev? I only saw something like that once…

Its a bot squad. They had bots with 1928A1 thompsons wayyy before it was released in Normandy too. Just a hold over
Old bug from CBT that especially happens with placeholder weapons.
Some weapons transform upon being dropped sometimes.
It isn’t even sensical, like usually a dropped PzB 38 turned into a PzB 39. Exact same weapon with a different name.
I’m not convinced… we know how bots move and act. That bot/person was way too aggressive to be a bot. I’ve also NEVER seen a bot doing SUSTAINED fire with a lmg, wich he did with the dt29…

Definitely could be a dev for sure but the vast amount of these occurrences are bots.

Few months ago I personally saw a stg44 in berlin. Was probably some bot with it with some big around it that made him deploy it.
Developers do play the campaign from time to time but you wont recognize them by the name as they change them frequently. But my guess its a bot aswell
