M1 Saff Off needs damage buff

.30 Carbine Damage on M2 Carbine = 7.3
.30 Carbine Damage on M1944 Hyde = 7.8
.30 Carbine Damage on M1 Saff Off = 6.9

M1 Saff Off should get either 7.3 or 7.8 damage.

I think low damage is the least of it’s problems…

cough cough front sight post

well the sawwed off barrel wouldnt have the aim thingy which is why it makes no sense to make the damage underperform. If anything make it 7.8 damage so its worth choosing

A lot of sawn off weapons still have the front sight because they take the middle of the barrel, not the end, or they crudely weld a front post on it. Still, in a gameplay setting, having extra damage wouldn’t be a bad thing.

honestly
Damage is not a big problem.
Because it’s still powerful enough to kill in two shots.
The biggest problem is the bullet’s velocity nerf.
This is the biggest problem.
But because of these two things, I think it’s an advantage in a way because it can remain SMG rather than AR.

For information, it looks like 560 in the catalog, but it’s actually 440.16.
It’s not very slow, but it’s a big nerf.

if its 440m/s, then its no longer a BR V weapon and not with that damage

Tokyo Arsenal:
5.6 damage x 1200RPM = 6720 damage per minute

Saw Off:
6.9 damage x 750 RPM = 5175 damage per minute

Then there’s the issue of the sights and the smaller gun magazine and greater recoil which makes the Saw off more of a BR III/IV weapon

Saw Off:
7.8 x 750RPM = 5850 damage per minute and with fixed sight would be more of a BR V weapon.
Maybe make it that bit less of the barrel is sawwed off as well to improve velocity.

To be honest, it’s almost the same performance as Kiraly.
But to be honest it’s still better than Tokyo Arsenal because of the 440m/s velocity.
The faster the bullet velocity, the easier it is to hit the distance, and the damage is also high, so M2 side is more dominant when it comes to fighting over mid-long range.

the accuracy isnt good tbh lol. no aim isght and high recoil. the Tokyo Arsenal is better… 440m/s inst much better than 350m/s

Did you heard about PPSh-41
