I think the recoil of M1 Carbine is a bit too much, statistically it is more than M1 Garand which is odd given the fact its is less powerful.
Why M1A2 have significantly less recoil?

Yes the M1 Carbine is hot trash in this game. Those things are like pea shooters in real life.

Devs need to look at how the M1 Carbine works in CRSED F.O.A.D, it’s near perfect compared to how it works in Enlisted. IDK why there’s so much more visual recoil with the rear sight while there’s almost none in CRSED.

Can’t believe I’m back in this thread. M1 Carbine still needs a little less recoil, I was psyched to get my hands on it recently until I fired the first shot. This thing is just not fucking viable right now, I’d rather take a Ross Rifle.
I’ve only got the initial weapon, and only fired a few shots - IMO the lack of recoil compared to full rifles is great, and head shots at 60m easy (50m to edge of cap, targets were in the center of the cap)
It has more recoil than the Lee Enfeild or Ross Rifle. What do you mean?

1 star M1 has 66 vertical, 16 horizontal

66>60. Not like horizontal recoil matters on a bolt action since you still have to cycle the bolt. All that matters imo is the vert recoil on a bolt action rifle so you can acurately follow the shot when holding down left click

bolt action is 1 shot anyway. even if the recoil is 10000 it doesn’t matter.
2-3 shot weapon should have significantly lower recoil than 1 shot kill weapon.
its a fundamental thing of every fps game.
