In the ocean or in still water? Felt like it crawled. And is that supposed to be historical?
No it should not. what part of a slow cumbersome heavy vehicle built for amphibious landing don’t you get? and no it has shit climbing ability and shit steering and turning. it doens’t have turning on spot.
You don’t get how this vehicle works and what it is.
You want a vehicle with better mobility. PICK ANOTHER
It’s a tin box made for crawling swamps from beginning, used in the role of transporting soldiers to the beach.
but by defintion it is a amphibious vehicle. Landing vehicle Tracked is just the classification ![]()
How is this logical? It’s got tracks. Guess what that means? It means one side can be braked which causes the whole thing to spin. Tracks pretty much work the same everywhere
no that’s not how it works no. there are plenty of different steerings and their ability varies, and no not all tracked vehicles can turn on spot. this comes down to how engine, transmission and steering are built.
being tracked doesn’t mean shit in itself. this tinbox is supposed to just transport soldiers from ships offshore to the beach, A to B, that’s all it’s meant for and designed for.
neutral steer
It’s so funny reading your text. I understand we can argue and discuss the weapons, but the fact that this car is complete nonsense is obvious. I repeat, if the other three sides have a decent premium car, why should the Americans have a piece of crap on a stick?
I understand you’re a very good, skilled player )), and you can move LVT4 through the air. If you can’t move this car through the air, then I don’t understand what kind of nonsense you’re writing.
Because we get 4 auto turrets one .50 cal controlled by an AI squadmate and 3 1919a4s controlled by AI squadmates and a light armored tank while everyone else at most has only gets 1 manned weapon on their APCs I think the average at best mobility is a fair trade like the LVT-4 ain’t no slouch in a sprint but don’t expect an 18.2 ton APC to corner like a track car. https://youtu.be/oLyMCQNapto?si=EinTVXaJHap2PUMt
let’s just say she a fat bish.
Armament is good, but not on this car. This car’s job is to reach the battlefield and be a respawn point, and it does this extremely poorly: speed, turning, getting stuck on every bump. In this thread, no one is saying to turn it into an F1 car, and these weapons no longer affect anything. Here, the tasks are completely different. While you’re driving to the point, these machine guns are good if they fire a few times. If you’re driving behind enemy lines and just riding around in it, then go ahead and do great things. Well, this is not the right car for that purpose.
And how do you logically think it was able to steer in the water then? It doesn’t have a rudder. It turns by braking/reversing one side. It’s my understanding that u.s. tanks during ww2 were not able to reverse a single side while the other moves forward, and achieved the same affect by using independent brakes for the left and right tracks. I’m not super knowledgeable on this, but it doesn’t take a genius to know that what you’re saying here logically doesn’t make sense. It also needs to steer on land. A tracked vehicle that only goes straight is useless.
Again, I’m not asking for a speed buff even, and I’m also encouraging that all fully tracked vehicles get worked on. They should all be able to turn better from a stand still/slow crawl, they should all be able to climb an insignificant incline, they should all be able to crawl over very minor objects. I’ve been stuck on such ridiculous things with quite a high frequency. There’s nothing more frustrating than trying to make it to the battle in a pinch and getting stuck on a little rock, a little tree stump, a broken apart car frame, a minor hole/crater, etc, for several minutes while you loose an objective. Don’t even get me started on rail road tracks. Like how does something 7 inches high stop a multi-ton tracked vehicle? It’s udder nonsense. We should be demanding for this. Mobility in general has been broken in the game for years.
There are currently 4 things that urk me so unbelievably bad, vehicle Mobility, the tnt bug/glitch that makes it so it doesn’t go off when you detonate, your soldiers not listening to you, and your a.i. constantly running around and fidgeting when you’re trying to stay still, trying to fire at enemies, and when you’re trying to build something. They’ve supposedly fixed the a.i. several times over to not do these things, but yet it’s still happening. If I’m not moving, i expect my soldiers to not be running around constantly like they have some kind of new ADHD disorder. I expect them to not get right where I’m building blocking me. I also expect my soldiers to not be half way across the map and not follow me when i move. I expect them to stay put where i gave them a direct order to stay and not run out of cover for no reason and get themselves killed. It’s also annoying when you have to switch to a new soldier to fight a close engagement but the guy you switched to has 3 bullets left in the mag getting you and the rest of your guys killed. I could live with this one though if the others were fixed. These very basic mechanics should be demanded. Massive quality of game changes.
it’s almost like this is the purpose of an APC
for once I actually agree with u, APCs, especially those of a larger size with greater utility to the player (has MGs on it, great protection for spawning soldiers) should be balanced with speed and being cumbersome. Does not take away from it being a great vehicle, and ngl as a GER main, I wish we had something as useful
