You’re right, I was indeed angry. I was quite happy at first, but then I saw that the two new teams only had five members. After that, I noticed that the data of the paid guns was worse than those of the previous teams from other countries. Finally, I saw some angry comments under this post. I wasn’t the first one to raise the issue of distorting history and flattering China. If you look at the previous messages again, there are still some, although few, but they are as glaring and uncomfortable as blue in red. The key is that there are actually quite a few people who agree with them. So I got angry and I had to fight back. Chinese people don’t come here anymore because the forum is full of people pretending not to know. I’m saying all this just to refute. If I said something unreasonable, it wasn’t aimed at anyone specifically. Only those who think they are like that will be hit where it hurts. Otherwise, why be so anxious. Some people’s daily words and deeds have already been exposed. I’m angry because the Chinese team should have been there. Other countries have had similar problems with historical maps. Now they are picking on China. I can’t just sit and wait to be attacked. You are a competent person, but next time, also take a look at my other sharp comments before. I’ve already toned it down because sharp comments will only circulate among Chinese people and eventually form a stereotype of Western arrogance, deepening the gap between the two sides. Of course, it’s not ruled out that there are still some people in DF who have deviated from their stance.
its the same as the T5 US 1921 with the drum mag and stabiliser.
I’m not going to elaborate further from these next few comments. Your opinion matters.
However, please don’t think that the West doesn’t appreciate what the Chinese people went through in WWII. Those of us who study history completely understand. You guys got a shit deal. It has nothing to do with arrogance.
But, again, I must insist that we refrain from this conversation, as it really isn’t in line with the gist of the thread, and is rather political. I’m trying to be nice here, and give you the benefit of doubt, but you can’t continue this rhetoric, as it will only serve to potentially cause division within the community, and also give rise to people who want to troll.
By all means, PM me and we can discuss it further, as two people who understand our WWII histories, but to continue this within the scope of the forums, we have to let it go.
I assure you that there isn’t any stereotyping, arrogance, or any attack going on. If there was, I’d have dealt with it already. But you have to realise that the forum has its rules, and you’re sailing close to the wind in breaking them with your comments.
I hope you can appreciate this. ![]()
Well, I understand. Thank you for your explanation. Um, I’m willing to apologize here for those intense remarks I made at the macro level that affected the community. And I’ll try not to do such things again in the future. Unless there’s another extremely infuriating statement. I’m glad you said that.
Actually, I was thinking that the BR2 with a PPK42 has a very high rate of fire. In fact, when comparing these two teams, there’s not much difference, but losing one person really makes a big impact.
indeed
Not only Chinese 3 assaulter squads, actually mp40 and stern event squads are also 5 members, and I suggest that they should also be 6 members squad, so the are same as normal event and gold squads
im going to assume youre right up on the window which when you do that your person and his gun is getting stuck behind the wall so he can’t pull the gun up. It also happens when youre next to a doorway usually stepping back a bit or standing up Lets you shoot normally or you can try leaning.
the ammo thing I think ive seen it once a while back and has to be caused by a little lag spike when you try reloading or switching to another gun or tool on your guy
the stuttering might be lag as well lol but if you can change your graphic settings I would lower it a tiny bit
Actually you could find Thai camouflaged vehicle in game for Japanese faction. But I think DF may have more choice if they look into Thailand troops.
I’m all up for proper Chinese representation in WW2 video games, I want to see 1930-40s Shanghai, Changsha, Wuhan and Nanjing.
I want to defend China as Chinese soldiers, in China.
But Gaijin have chosen not to do that as a proper campaign/front, not even as a limited time event.
They have clearly chosen to cater to the Chinese market and the Chinese players’ desires for glorious and victorious representation.
I feel like we’re living in an alternative universe where I actually have to spell this out:
- Chinese forces did not defend Moscow
- Chinese forces did not fight for Stalingrad
- Chinese forces did not land in Normandy
- Chinese forces did not capture Berlin
That’s equally as insane as Germans occupying Shanghai, Russians landing in Normandy or Ottomans fighting over Verdun in WW1, just because they were “on that team”.
Over the last year we have seen the release of:
- Chinese Liu rifle squad
- Chinese Thompson squad
- Chinese fake silenced PPSh squad
- Chinese Sichuan SMG squad
- Chinese Sichuan Thompson squad
And most likely even more to come.
One can literally have a 3-squad non stop Chinese rotation now at the battle of Stalingrad.
Guess how many Italian, French, Indian, Polish, Finnish, Hungarian or Romanian squads we have seen in the same period?
Zero.
Surely they deserve some representation too, right?
But they wouldn’t bring the sweet millions of RMB.
If that’s not catering to the Chinese market, not chasing that delicious RMB, not exploiting the Chinese players’ desire for “military powerhouse” status, I don’t know what else this is.
Which is how you force a 50 round SMG into BR V…
This thing does not need that dispersion to be BR III.
Let just say - we want full sized chinese squads.
Following your own logic, if you truly care about “historical accuracy,” Italian forces also did not participate in Normandy, the Ardennes, Berlin, or the Battle of Moscow. Yet, in Enlisted, you can control Italian soldiers fighting against the Allies on those very battlefields. Since you believe it’s “unhistorical” for Chinese forces to appear in Stalingrad, doesn’t that make it equally unhistorical for Italian forces to appear in Normandy and Berlin? Why is that acceptable when the other is not?
Where did you see me claim that Italians in Berlin or Normandy are acceptable?
I started playing this game in 2020 exactly for the reason that it didn’t have insane bullshit.
And ever since the Merge apocalypse happened, I’ve been suggesting that the bullshit that has appeared should be fixed, improved or contained, not multiplied tenfold by insanities such as Su-9 1946, fake silenced PPSh 41, HoRi made up in 2017 or Chinese divisions defending Stalingrad.
Italian interwar sand-colored tanks in Ardennes is stupid, unnecessary and ahistorical, I’ve been saying this since forever.
And even if I was to play the devil’s advocate, Italians did send their forces to the Eastern front, they did fight on the Western front as a whole.
But not a single division, brigade or platoon of Kuomintang/Communist Chinese forces ever saw a single second of either Eastern or Western front.
That’s equally as insane as Russians fighting for Tunisia or Japanese defending Berlin.
That’s it.
You want play real warfare - you go hll.
Only fake here is your position. Ppsh silenced have a photo and docs
You just said, ‘Italy fought on the Western Front as a whole,’ trying to justify Italian squads appearing in the Ardennes. But the fact is, Italian troops never set foot in the Ardennes battlefield. If you insist on applying the standard of ‘not a single second,’ then Italy doesn’t qualify either. You didn’t bat an eye when enjoying Italian mixed lineups before, but now that Chinese squads are here, you suddenly start defending ‘historical accuracy’? That’s not called sticking to principles—that’s called selective enforcement. Let’s be real bro-this game stopped being a historical simulator a long time ago.
You did read this, right?
Lol you clearly haven’t followed my posts on this forum
But I agree with you, there should be China factions and Chinese tech tree. So the historical simulation would be enhancers. I agree with you for this point.
The concern is definitely valid, however, lets look at the realities of Enlisted today.
Squad’s can’t be 100% historically accurate as a fact, this possibility was done away with as soon as the Merge happened.
The legendary Soviet 756th Infantry Regiment was well-known for it’s success in Berlin, however, it isn’t really known for doing anything in Moscow (where literally anyone can take it, as it isn’t even a legacy squad)… because it was formed in 1943.
You can never have perfect HA, but what you can do is get as close to it as possible, preferably to a point where at least some “immersion” can be kept.
Looking at what makes the Chinese squads stand out we see:
-
Squad insignia, description etc
-
Squad weaponry
-
The soldiers themselves (appearance, voicelines etc.).
1 and 2 are already set in stone, as no one can see your emblems in battle anyways and premium weapons are… well, premium weapons.
3, however, can be dealt with. A simple change of nationality to Russian/Buryat/any other Soviet far-East nation would be more than sufficient. A setting that would download a client-side sound mod and hide fake decals would be even better.
While we may not be able to change others, in the realities of Enlisted, where Devs don’t have the capability to implement giant updates and changes, this appears to be the best we can get.
Not trying to attack your opinion or criticize our common love for historical accuracy, but simply suggesting a different, less radical approach that might gain more support and get us somewhere.
100 agree. This guy snooze all time about soviet setup. Damn, Tunisian volunteers here since merge and he dgaf.
