We all know and all love the Luftfaust B, and it being at Tier IV was perfectly fine before jets, but now it struggles to hit jets and when it does, it feels like it barely tickles them. My thought is to lower it from its respective Tier IV down to Tier III; only putting it up against prop planes in its new battle rating. It’s a fun weapon that can’t be utilized fully due to constant uptiers at BRIV, however, bringing it down to fight what it was created for: infantry held anti-air against prop planes.
Dropping this to a lower BR would not create any gameplay imbalance either as it’s rockets wouldn’t cause the prior grenade launcher problem that plagued enlisted either.
The Luftfaust B shows one major flaw being that it takes up an AT soldiers AT weapon slot, and at its current BR, it’s a total waste, being it can’t compete against jets, and can’t penetrate tanks (due to it firing anti-aircraft rockets) and only a memory and or meme weapon at this point.
For those who may argue too much HE at low tier due to the rockets:
It has no abusive HE, the radius only being about as wide as a soldier’s head, and fires so fast you would only be able to kill 2 soldiers max if you attempt to swing quickly across a group of soldiers before your salvo is consumed.
Final Conclusion, the Luftfaust B should be brought down to Tier III/BR3.
