The Murata rifle is a past BP reward that is currently BR2, but I think that it should be BR1. It is rather similar to the premium Lebel rifle in many regards, fairly large capacity in comparison to other rifles (8 rounds vs 10 rounds of the Lebel), instead of loading all rounds at once with stripper clips, each round is loaded induvidually, which slows down reload quite a bit compared to average rifles. So essentially, it’s a Lebel with 2 less rounds (8 vs 10) and has a slower reload (9.9 seconds vs 9.6), but shoots faster (69 RPM vs 42 RPM). So due to those reasons, I think that the Murata could be lowered to BR1.
I’ve been wanting to rant about this for ages. Just because its magazine capacity has doubled, they’ve tossed it into BR2. But let’s be real—it’s still a bolt-action rifle. Now BR2 is gradually filling up with 5-round semi-automatics, so this gun’s viability is extremely limited.
Not really the lebel 1886/93 is br1 but bc there’s so much more holding it back that the T22 where out of the two the T22 is objectively better infact it’s up there with the Type 38
Bolt-action rifles should be locked to br1, despite their ammunition capacity, as [传说巨神伊迪安] said, BR2 got gradually and systematically filled with semi automatic rifles, which defeat the purpose of having bolt action rifles in your armory.
The only Semi-Auto that is actually on par with bolt actions in most situations is the Fedorov 1912. The M1 Carbine isn’t a rifle like that, the Armaguerra is too weak for anything, and the Type Hei and Type Otsu also have very little damage when compared to Bolt Actions. Additionally not all Bolt Actions are created equal. Is the Mosin M1938 truly on the same level as the Lee Enfield or SMLE?
idk man, Murata is personaly my favorate bolt action in the game. I only have one and often get myself killed atempting to pick it up after my first soldier died.
I personally find the weapon to be very good and don’t think a BR reajustment is needed, its a rather quick weapon. But in strict terms its not the strongest bolt action.
After having seen what they did to the De Lisle however, I fear them ever touching old gold order stuf and ruining it so, idk plz just leave this weapon alone.
