Love this new event! Yea, its tough but I will get the hang of in a few rounds.
I have never seen so much hate spewed on a forum for no reason. I am really beginning to think people have other motives for bashing this game.
To the devs: YA’LL DID A GREAT JOB! I would not blame you for shutting down the forum. Keep up the good work and ignore the haters. These complainers could not develop a 1975 Pong game!

I hope they actually make WWI permanent at BR0…with some tweaking it’ll be awesome. Different play style required.
But the event is grindy.
enjoying the event as well I managed to destroy a few tanks and for the arty spam you just gotta watch where its landing and get outside its zone
It seems even veterans who served in the military found the event incredibly easy; only a group of schoolchildren were constantly complaining. Yes, the official event was excellent, we all loved it!
Here are some game tips: First, complete all battle pass missions in the event campaign mode before purchasing the paid pass. Second, follow the AI units to attack or defend after hearing the whistle. Third, do not defend while attacking, and do not attack while defending. Fourth, artillery support has a cooldown period; if your own position is unavailable, you can enter the enemy’s position to use it. Fifth, pay attention to battlefield prompts and details; do not wander aimlessly
I agree, it’s really cool. Would be even cooler if we had french vs german matches tho. Enfield is kinda boring rifle and it exists in the tech tree, I wish I could try Lebel

You’re allowed to like the event… however labeling people who don’t as haters is childish and tells most of what you need to know.
I’ve seen the few posts giving praise towards this event and i’ll stand by as they’re allowed to like it.
People have valid reason for disliking it.
Firstly this is a time consuming event while there is another one going on… granted not 20k per 2 day.
I avoid lone fighters as i dislike the gameplay it incentivizes… i enjoy and prefer playing like its a shipment match which is why i stay mostly in BR5…
Ironic after people complain about one man squad being added they make an event modeled around one man squads… it’s an april fools joke.
Perhaps make direct accusations instead of sticking along the lines when making such comments.
Response to natural dislike in such matter is once again telling.

It’s not my bag, mostly because I hate bolt action rifles, arty and constant snipers, but other then that, the one game I played after they reworked it was ok…I guess. 
The kick in the balls for me was after the dev’s improved it, I lost all credit for the games I had played, so, I lost interest in having to start from scratch. For me, the only reward I would like is the Mondragon, and it’s not worth the grind just for it.
