I feel arty got an accidental buff with the HE change last patch. I noticed a few games with that first arty strike coming away with way more kills than it had before.

Yeah, I think the least I’ve lost to a single arty shell now is half of my health.
Yeah, this was a different game but never got this many kills with one arty strike before the changes. They might have made it more effective as a result of increasing the delay.
all HE got a blanket buff, including artillery.
I’ve also gotten killed by 85mm HE from the next room over from where it hit.
I had a game where this arsehat on my team killed me and others on my team 20 times. We were capping the enemy zone and he dropped an artillery on it, like wtf…
Some people just gotta troll. I myself am being tempted to drop artillery on friendly snipers sitting on hills doing fuckall on D-day
