Lone Fighters mode being done away with?

I was playing the new Tunisia campaign and noticed after getting to level 3 there is no lone fighters mode. When I asked a guy on the Enlisted Official Discord he told me that they will be doing away with the Lone fighters mode. Any truth to this?

LF is being replaced by custom lobbies, which I assume, will come with the ability to set up a LF style mode.

In the meantime - no lone fighters in Tunisia. Great. They’ve failed to make squads anything more than grinding points on bots while trying to avoid players. Then they’ve added a botched version of a normal game mode - lone fighters. Botched to a point where it was barely playable (and still is nearly one year later).

And now they are fading it out instead of fixing it, all to the applause of the “Just play that_other_game” crowd. At this point Enlisted is best advertisement that_other_game could wish for.

lone fighters will be part of the upcoming custom servers . there was no reason to add it on current tunisia.

be glad the mode exists in the first place, Enlisted was advertised over the squad game mode, the main one.

I totally agree with you. It seems all you get to do is grind on bots in the current squads mode.

Well. At least in Squad its intentional to fight bots unlike LF.

So it’s intentionally boring and immersion-breaking. How does that make anything better? How come they didn’t even announce that there is no lone fighters in Tunisia? Had to waste time unlocking more campaign levels thinking I misremembered at which point it should unlock.

Are there so few LF players that they though no one would notice? Well, that won’t surprise me considering the state of that mode. Did they think people are so dumb it would be possible to trick them into playing the game mode they chose to avoid because it’s awfully made? Just look at your average bot squad running all bunched up, getting stuck on corners, looking in random directions helplessly as you mow them down, and tell me it’s immersive or fun.

The entire game is still in an awful half-assed state and the forum has turned into a damned swamp.
