Just remove it holy moly the Lmg’s went from good to borderline worthless at more that 5 feet even within a small room. It some times takes 15 shots to hipfire someone now. The other problem is using a bipod to make them slightly useful you either get instantly headshotted by a bot or it takes 20 minutes to find a place to put your bipod.

Yeah its hard to make them work, i honestly only play them when the match isn’t sweaty. But today i had some matches where i could make some good use. Here it went quite well yolo hipfire and ads. Enlisted: Wish i'd had a belt for that MG 42 - YouTube

MGs do really put you off the first time you use the new setup (if you are used to the old setup). I persevered until I had the following perks on all 3 of my MG 42s
100% more stamina
100% stamn Regen
20% aim speed (I found this to be amazing for MG)
30% horizontal recoil (can use vertical, but I’m used to controlling vertical recoil.)
*insert whatever (for me hold breath for longer or less camera shake from explosions)
Now they are devastating, I can burst fire from standing and demolish targets at range.
bipod does need serious attention though

Your video showed exactly my problem you sprayed a guy and it didnt kill him thats why I have such a problem with them.
burst fire doesnt seem to do shit it feels super innacurate at more than 40 feet like I have to shoot 10 rounds just to hit a guy once.
Yeah it can spray around so you have to choose your engagements where you might get out on top. Best is to use aim down sight but after some meters you can even miss with that some bullets that make you die.
Liked it as well way more last year where you were at lest in aim down sights real accurate, now its more a gamble and to choose correct engagements.
That’s good, too many times when I see a guy on top of the scoreboard he is running around hipshooting an MG34 or something like an SMG and it works way too well. All they have to do is fix the bipods and keep the dispersion nerf while hipshooting.
I went from only using MG squads to not using MGs at all anymore, the spread penalty for walking sideways is just so bad, I’d rather use pistols only.
The bipods just dont work either, and even if the bipods would work amazing - not being able to get to cover quick after your kill is making even snipers much better at mid-long range support fire… and snipers aren’t great to begin with.
Yeah I was grinding to see hey maybe because I didnt have reduced recoil it sucked NO its just complete ass at longer ranges, I can do far more damage with the Mp43 its better at longer ranges where I don’t have time to set up a sand bag in a window to use my bipod.
