Notable changes:

  1. Sprint & run speed perks for pilots are back.

bugs?

  1. Medics lost access to run speed perk.
old

new

  1. Rider on bikes have access to pilot perks: ‘+50% Range of detection of enemy aircraft’, ‘-100% Effect of head-swinging during sharp maneuvers’ & “+30% Endured negative overloads, +15% endured positive overloads”? Why?
also, perk UI for riders is borked

Cost changes:
1.+40% Resources available for buildings now costs 16 points, almost double from old cost of 9. It is possible to get in negative vitality perks points.
2. Vertical recoil is 2 points cheaper, you can just take 1-2 levels out of 4 to save more.
3. Engineer Building Speed perk is 2 points cheaper, also can just take 1-2 levels out of 4.
4. +25% Flamethrower fuel perk costs 1 point more.
5. No more 0 cost perks, ‘+100% Stamina regeneration speed’ cost 1 point now.

Questionable changes:

  1. Removing perks now costs silver? Why?
  2. Soldier upgrade card are nowhere to be seen, what happened?
  3. There are 3 ‘tiers’ for perks, you can’t just take vitality 16 points directly, you need to spend 6 points on 1st tier perks. This means new tier 1 soldiers may not take classic “sprint+ vitality+vert. recoil” package. Yet, if you had those perks before merge, you’ll keep them.

Edit: Even after forum update, spreadsheets are still barely readable.

Overall I’m kind of happy they toned down the effects. Lesser effect of a super soldier.
But why vitality is unchanged? Arguably the strongest perk.

Has that affected the vehicle upgrade Card as well or is it still fine ?

Vehicle upgrade cards are available to be used on opendev.

The problem with this change is that it mainly affects new players. If you had a Rifleman tier I with “sprint+ vitality+vert. recoil” package, you’ll keep it. New player simply can’t make a same set-up for their soldier.

Yet another way to screw up new players.
fun

i was confused at first on why some of my enginers had -6 perks in the vitality :joy:

but for the rest.

yeah… as usual you have upsides and downsides.

Forgot to mention - all retraining points from old soldiers seem to be gone.
