🔄 Limited-Time Bundle Discussion Thread

Since premium bundles rotate roughly every 3 days, this thread will track each rotation and help evaluate whether the current offer is worth buying.

Many bundles include squads that are no longer purchasable individually—sometimes not returning for months—so this thread is meant to compare value, availability, and performance.

:moneybag: What We Compare

For each bundle we will evaluate:

Total price of the bundle

Full and discounted prices of squads (if known)

Whether squads are currently sold individually

How long since they last appeared

Whether the bundle is actually cheaper vs. buying during gold discounts

Bundles typically include 4 squads, often a mix of:

:star: one stand-out squad
:yellow_circle: one or two decent squads
 sometimes one low-value squad

Because some squads are temporarily removed from the store, bundles may be the only purchasing option.

:memo: Posting Format

When a new bundle goes live, please post using this format:

Bundle Name:
Bundle Price (Gold / $):

Included Squads (4):

For each squad in the bundle:

• Strengths & weaknesses
• Last full price
• Last discounted price (if known)
• Individual purchase status/date removed
• Value rating

Value Rating (choose one):
:star: Excellent value – strong savings or rare squads
:yellow_circle: Worth it if you want at least one main squad
:x: Poor value

Historical Notes (optional):
Examples:

o “Unavailable individually since last summer sale.”
o “Was 50% off during New Year 2023.”
o “Removed after its last rotation.”

:pushpin: Thread Guidelines

:heavy_check_mark: Keep evaluations constructive and helpful
:heavy_check_mark: Explain reasoning—not only opinions
:heavy_check_mark: If you see a bundle appear, post it
:heavy_check_mark: New and veteran players welcome

Why This Thread Exists

Bundles can be:

o The only chance to get discontinued squads
o Cheaper than buying squads with gold
o Or worse value than recent discounts

This thread helps players make informed choices rather than impulse purchases.

The best one by far is the Allied Hellfire Ranger bundle…the rest of them have to many filler squads or just aren’t that great. They should really rotate in other squads to the bundles to make them more appealing.
The M42 Assaulter squad is fire, M24 tank is great, Moroccan Auxiliary very unique and cool and the rifle is good, the Engineer is the weakest one but it’s an Engineer squad so it’s good.

True…but still helpful to newer players…or any…looking for value in them with stat info and such since the descriptions are vague.

It’s not remotely useful and is mostly filler. It skips over everything making the squads unique, because AI is dumb as fuck and shouldn’t be relied on

What’s missing? From what I can see, the tank is the best option for BR1–BR3 against other tanks, though it’s not as effective as some other tanks in those BRs when facing infantry. The main value of the snipers and medics is that they come with a fully unlocked engineer, while the engineer squad itself is mostly filler, in my opinion.

Additionally, the tank, snipers, and medics are no longer available in the store, so this is the only way to get them. On top of that, the price is 60% off. Even if you only consider three of the squads, it still amounts to about 50% off. And if you factor in that gold is 26% off when you buy $100 worth, the deal ends up being well over 50% off!

Overall, it’s not a bad deal if you want that tank and those snipers/medics—forget the engineers. And yes, I did run this through AI to clean it up—nothing wrong with that.

I meant having the info about the squads as a lot in the bundles are garbage…so people don’t waste money.

It is not. The armor is good, the gun fires quickly, and the 50mm KwK has some of the best lower caliber HE shells for use against infantry - but the postpen damage is poor, and it has substantially worse pen than br3 tanks.

It has a pintle mounted MG and smoke, both of which are useful. Good br3 tanks like the Panzer IV H, and all other br1-br2 german tanks (other than the M14/41 lack that.

The main value of the medics is their mobility stat and the gun having almost nonexistent recoil

Yes there is, it makes your post look lazy, fills it with redundant info, and makes you sound like an idiot who can’t write. It doesn’t “clean it up,” it makes your entire post effectively worthless because all of the info is in question.

I hear you, but best get used to it. I heard the same thing about the use of calculators and then the same thing about the use of computer programming languages like C vs hand-coding it in assembly language.

AI saturation is everywhere nowadays, especially on social media where they make it hard to tell truth from fiction sometimes. Here? Probably Gaijin trying to get us to buy more.
