Normandi’s american planes are sooo op. 10 rockets with a 500 pound bomb and americans can just spawn one after one after one with kamikaze attacks. Do something about it. in reality they shouldnt use kamikaze attack except for the japanese. limit the planes that each player can use.

JU-88 is pretty OP too. It may not quite be a P47 but it’s really effective with a capable pilot.
It can also easily kill bombers with no effort, because AI gunners will just wipe those bombers.

Suiciding with P-47 feels pointless.
Feels pointless, but still happens. And thats why we need to set a number of minimum points in order to use vehicles, no matter if you’re a noob or if you’ve been playing for 3 years now.
Terrible opion, I paid for my premium vehicles and I want to use them immediately. This nonsense should be option in customs.

Depends on wheter they are attacking or not.
They don’t have the best tanks, but sure deserve to have the best planes.
US planes are cool. P47 is much fun.
and it flys like a bus, so one plane (even BF-110) gets on your 6. You are done.
Do you know how hard it is to be a pilot in this game? Very, from the grinding, limited options of support from being air(depending what your aircraft carries and your abilities as a pilot). Granted I’ve played alot of hours into this game to learn how to play every position properly and better but devaluing/buffing planes is a problem. If anything they need to be tweeked. Unless the plane has a 250lb payload, the plane is useless against formable armor. I’m basically dropping a paperclip on a rock in certain theaters(thats why they have probably made the theater system useless in a bit). Even the premium planes are majority trash(I bought a few when they are on sale, I’m not stupid to pay for a game derived off micros). If I were you, learn to counter planes with AA, or get in a plane and serve from the sky. No one is stopping you from being an ace in the sky.

You don´t see people go on these crazy killsteaks as reguarly as with the P-47
I’m not sure what “these crazy killstreaks” means. With the JU-88 I’m certain I’ve had 40 - 50 kills in two bombing runs including some tank kills. I’ve for sure had well over 100 kills in many matches from using JU-188. I’ve spent a lot of time in the P-47 and it’s a beast but I don’t think the mismatch is what this thread suggests it is.

Ok? Doesn´t change my point that you don´t see people doing that as often as with the P-47.

Me too, I´ve used it roughly since the game went into OBT
Then I´m amazed you somehow manage to play Normandy without realizing how potentially gamechanging P-47s can be compared to the Ju. Then again you´re mostly killing bots there so maybe it doesn´t even get the chance to be gamechanging.
The advantages are as far as I can see:
Player usable guns (AI gunners are very unreliable a lot of the time)
Direct fire ordnance (Bombs are harder to use and there´s no bombsight)
Smaller and faster target (explains itself)
The last time the Ju-188 was on par with the P-47 and A-20 was back before they nerfed bombs.
“crazy killstreaks” is not a quantifiable metric. You may feel that 3 kills is crazy.
i guess we just disagree that it’s substantially more gamechanging than the JU-88.
