I tend to always play on ‘Join Any Army’ because my preferred experience is BR II and I have fully stacked BR2 lineups for all factions. However, using today as an example, of the 9 games I played, 8 were as Japan, and one was as the allies. This means I never got to play the Soviets or Germans. Of those Japan games, 6 were consecutive (in a row).
I would suggest a limit to the number of times someone can get assigned the same faction in a row. Perhaps 3-4 times, for the sake of keeping it fresh. Or at the very least, limit how often they get a certain campaign; all of my Japan games today were Pacific, and if there are any maps in this game which I get sick of very quickly, it’s the Pacific maps. No Burma, and no Manchuria for me today.
