Not really unexpected tbh. Last CBT was for month, it was clear it wont be any different now. Well, it was 2 months, but one was without any campaign tree, but maybe that will come earlier.

Its more about money than data tbh. It was like that even before. I will just wait for Campaign tree, and then i will start playing Tunisia again.
But it still remains to be seen why they extended the BP for a week?? Of course it could be because they are simply running behind schedule.
But it could also be because they are looking to release it in conjunction with some big update … So far we are at midweek with no communication …

How bots behave? Poorly.
How map feels? Good but boring
How bikes feel? Like driving a coconut
How weapons feel? Weak.
How voice lines feel? I can’t even ear them. So far I only understanded “if you want to die I m your man” wtf is even this lol.

The test does really need to open because of all of the wasted potential I’m seeing.

I’m sure a lot is owed to lack of knowledge. I find for example that if I start moving a bus around to use as a barricade or a platform, other players follow my example, but only after I start it off.
In a perfect world a streamer event would solve that, but we all know streamers only ever show players how to abuse the meta and never how to be resourceful.
I m yet to see anyone on a boat.
I m yet to see anyone digging a hole and actually use it. It doesn’t even fit the pace of this game…
But to be fair, bots are probably not coded to drive one -(boat) or stay inside holes. …
This, overall is wasting feedback potential.
I don’t mind the price, I srsly don’t, but ffs I m not gonna play a bot fest with the same shit over and over again with some repeated weapons.
And we aren’t even testing the secondary objectives they stated on the devlog…

My impression of entrenching is that Tunisia is the worst map for it.
It’s way too built up already so there’s no need for artificial cover like that.

Game pace it’s too fast for this.
As i stated on the devlog, it’s yet another option, I ill use once or twice just to see how it works, and never use it again.
Same with boats, smoke arty and moving at guns around.
All of them have some porpose for some one, but not for me, and imo, not for the pace the game runs.
I agree arty smoke might be the only feature that could have some usefulness. But I also see how it could be used in some pretty gamey ways as well.
Boats I also have to agree on until they get guns.
They’re slow and make you a target. Seems faster and safer just to sprint down the shore and swim to the other side from there.
if the campaign were like in planet side 2 building the defenses would have a huge impact, and the battles would be more fun, imagine you are attacking a village but the enemy in the meantime defeated the players who were defending a position behind you and you and the other players with you have been surrounded and now you have to break the encirclement and return to the allied map area
(obviously the experience would be in real time)

Agreed, the only use I can see is maybe putting down sneaky rallies close to points (assuming you can get the terrain level enough). With how much weaker bombs are, rallies already have become way more survivable so long as they remain out of sight. Or maybe for engis prebuilding defenses on certain caps. I wonder if you could make a trench to prevent tanks from driving across (for example right in front of/behind the bridge on Monastery). If so that would be interesting since I don’t think there is a way to fill back in and which means it cannot be destroyed like the hedgehogs.
Didn’t buy into the CBT yet because I wanna see if the campaign tree interests me (and idgaf about bikes) so I haven’t had a chance to test the digging myself.
