The vehicle was armed with whatever was available, but the most common was a 20 mm (0.8 in) Hispano-Suiza HS.404 autocannon or a 37 mm (1.5 in) Coventry Ordnance Works autocannon on a shielded mount in the rear flatbed, and two additional pintle-mounted .303 Lewis machine guns.
As with a lot of WW2 decisions in the UK the Beaver started after the failure and miracle of the Dunkirk evacuation. The British left almost every weapon behind saving countless lives as the French pulled a valiant rear guard stalling action. Like several vehicles the beaver is not a army vehicle by design but a modified civilian vehicle.
It would make a great ifv at br2 but until unarmed apcs are moved to br1 it might get stuck at 3. able to engage lightly armored tanks apcs and infantry. the beaver comes with eith a 20mm or 30mm as well as two machine guns. a great event or premium vehicle as its far topo rare for the tech tree.
