Let vehicles use apperance orders so customizing them no longer costs money

Vehicles are an integral part of Enlisted, and in nearly every match you see them used frequently. However, you almost always see them with the exact same camoflage as the tech tree ones. This is due to how the vast majority of camo options are locked behind an expensive paywall that people would rather spend on anything else since it offers no imact on gameplay. Compare this to normal soldiers, which have the ability to be customized for free via apperance orders, and it shows hoe bad this is. So, if vehicles are allowed to use apperance orders to buy camos and decals, it will make tanks feel less like carbon copies of each other, but distinct vehicles players can customize.

Should vehicles be allowed to use apperance orders for camos/decals?

i agree.

perhaps make them cost 35 or 40 appearance cards and that would seem fair to me.
( hefty price, but camos unlike clothings, are universal among presets )

I bring up the question of what happens with all the stuff people spent real money on? And are now purchasable with in game currency? A rebate for all purchased customization?

the same way gold order, bp weapons etc in the past were handled.

you got to enjoy earlier and use it for an extended period of time before anyone else.

except, now you get them through silver chest.

so, not a valid argument if you ask me.

it’s not an argument but a question.

And no… this would be like if you allowed purchase of event/bp weapons with in game silver… this is not like putting them in rng crate.

It’s making normally paid content purchasable with IGC… so when you do that it’s a big slap in the face to the consumer so you should be giving them something in return.

Now keep in mind i’m not against this but i would require compensation for my extensive support for the game if you want to make it free. i’m particularly beat up about this as i have recently purchased customization for all my primary tanks in their respective campaigns… at 2.50$ a campaign that racks up.

much like the stalingrad access pack / DLC;

it claimed to give cheaper soldiers to recruit, 2x boost over matches, and unique rewards.

fast forward, the merge happened, and those things were no longer the case.

yet, people payed real money for all of it’s content.

but the panzer G was later reintroduced as a TT unlock, and pretty much other that were previously locked to the owner.

it’s just the way it goes.
the game progress. and accessibility comes first.

while that is true to some extent, take as an example, appearance, premium squads. and others.

the panzer IV E was first introduced as a premium, then released in the TT with the merge.
same with the panzer G.
same with the T34 STZ etc.
and many, many other cases

not the first time, and most likely, not the last.

sounds more like an entitlement issue.

are you paying for keeping up the curtains? or to feel better about your self.

after all, you as much as i, payed for having said camouflages. and yes, granted, we didn’t had an alternative.

we should do have one, and keep paying if you can’t wait to obtain enough cards.

that’s how the game works.

talking about slap in the face, ever heard about the flame tank paylods lol?

40 euro for a premium, just to receive an identical plane in the event the week after.

but, i’m not here to trash on anyone.
i my self bought soo many camouflages and i have no issues doing so further.
it makes no sense that it should cost only gold instead of also appearance cards. which as the name implies, should work for tanks too.

I bought a bunch of vehicle skins and decals, yet I support this suggestion.
putting more than two decals on a vehicle is already locked behind premium account, not to mention the premium vehicles for which I already paid for once than bought a camo for it… Why Iam getting charged twice?

What’s the last premium squad you bought? Let’s make it purchasable with silver.

All the other examples were correct, but just wanted to point out the T34 STZ isn’t in the tech tree, at least yet. A shame, considering it’s a pretty good tank and a nice contrast to the KV1.

Comparing squads with unique and often quite powerful weapons/equipment to coats of paint, right…

I do not care… they were both spent with real money.

You want to draw a line that’s cool… either way it’s taking things that people paid for and making it accessible for free.

COMMON SENSE… to give those who have bought it when it was paid some kind of compensation.

And to be against that is absolutely bonkers. It’s fine if you are against me and don’t like me but that’s a definitive truth… YOU SHOULD be given compensation.

just gonna leave this here.

no need, just also add the ability to buy for customisation orders.
You lose nothing, just more people gain access.

If this suggestion were to come true i would most definitely give every vehicles some ridiculous customization… only have mustered up the courage to buy a few.

Once again. Okay… what’s the last premium squad you bought? Now it’s available for silver.

You spent money on it? Nobody cares. It’s better if it’s for free. You will not be given compensation.

You didn’t lose anything… more people just got access… to the stuff you specifically paid TO HAVE ACCESS.

I guess this is appealing to the glass half full mindset… imagining you have been a loyal customer of a barber shop and then suddenly they make their services free… well you should be thankful… i tried to think of that to further my point however it opens up the reality.

But this is a game… and they can give the purchasers something in return for the change… however realizing is it a necessity? No.

But customisation things are NOT the main “product”.
The game makes most of its money on premium squads and premium account.

Your examples are bad because you try to portray a stupid camo as if it was the whole product, but a much closer example would be a pub.
It makes most of its profit on drinks and food, in this case, charging for the bathroom is a shameless move, but it is exactly whats going on here!

Uh… the stupid camo is literally what you’re paying for? No?

See… and now you’re trying to downplay it by calling it stupid. I’m done here. i’ve acknowledged where i’m being irrational.

Yet will finally reiterate again if you want to make a normally paid feature free… then giving those who paid for it compensation is well in order.

But its not free.
You can only get customisation orders by completing the battle pass or by buying them.
You pay for the battle pass and play the game too, isnt that a win-win for everyone?
Hell Im sure more people would become interested in unlocking the 3rd and 4th decal slot on vehicles if they could buy decals for not just gold. Again that is going to be much better for the devs to keep people paying a subscription than just charge them once.
